Awesome diamond dust emote

You obviously have more disposable income khuj :) it is SE's fault as that's how they've marketed it. It's not available for all, it's available for the rich.
Half the people who seem to be planning to buy it say that the emote isn't an incentive, or that they don't want it. I don't understand why you'd think the emote was generating sales when there is only a limited amount of the statues and being final fantasy, they will always sell out. Plus as I said above, the profit margin on them can't be that great either.
It's forcing exclusivity and is divisive. A two tier system. It's like the NHS and private hospitals...

I'd hardly call myself rich (college student here with more loans than I would care to have), but I preordered the statue because I liked it with money I have saved up for personal spending. Please stop being so presumptuous, because it's doing nothing but invalidating your arguments; at least in my eyes.

SE is under no obligation to provide bonus vanity content like glamours, emotes, or minions in-game at no cost. Apparently they are highly desired--enough for SE to continue to include them as BONUSES for purchasing merchandise. Maybe if people would focus more on the merchandise rather than the BONUSES... I buy art books and soundtracks because they are gorgeous and I love the music. Coming with minions are a plus for me--I'd still buy them without the bonus items.

I smell a lot of entitlement in this thread.

BTW for anyone that bought the previous statue, how is the quality?

I collect 1/4 scale comic book statues that make this $120 item look like next to nothing (and no I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination).

Not intending to insult, it's all a matter of personal perspective. There is no way I could afford to drop £120 on a statue, anyone who can is in a different bracket to me lol. I don't see how that would invalidate my other points? But anyways that's your point of view, enjoy your emote ^^

If they sold the items without the ingame items that would be fantastic! I still believe that in a sub game, everything in it should be obtainable in game in. If you want it fast, buy it. Or you could earn it over time.... something to aim for:)

the more whales buy in the cash shop, the more will be put in there, until the whales themselves run out of blubber and suddenly think oh, but anyways

this is my point of view, and other people have theirs :)

So how do you feel about collector edition games and all the bonus goods game companies, not just SE, put in them to make it worth the cost?

Why not buy the statue, use the code and then sell the statue to someone who maybe doesn't care about the emote to recoup most of the money?

Is hilarious how much people will pay for what is usually a bad quality statue that ends up in CEX within year. Some are really nice tho. Was it one of the uncharted ones which had the ring?
