You say that as if this game doesn't improve itself or add things, which it objectively does.

Does it add things the community wants, or in the way they want? Not always, but then again the community in Blizzard spends a lot of time asking for things like classic servers and upright orcs for years before getting them, and other frequent requests still get told no.

Personally i would love that races with tails didnt had them clipping all over the clothes. I would be also nice if ALL characters didnt had flat pancakes as butts (dont even want a toogle, just a bit more realistic that the current flat line).

But honestly the tail clipping is annoying as hell. Still remember on 1.0 when clothes all had proper holes for miqote's tails. Now we have the Aura race as well, and despite that, basically no dress has a tail hole and they all magically protude from the cloth/metal/whatever, not counting the rare cases when clothes have the proper tail holes and the hole its MISPLACED with the tail protuding from above or below...

They have known about the housing issues for years, now is not the time to say oh well they will look at it...
Editing to add, what i mean is all they are simply doing is adding more wards, using the same housing system they have used for years and i honestly do not think instanced (like so many of us have mentioned) will be a thing.
If you are going to introduce content (and in which we all pay for) except it is limited to select players it does need reworking.

Now yes players want more content like dungeons, Primals, etc.. so that is there focus but housing is also a form of content. Some players enjoy gardening, decorating, etc...

Once again they seem to completely misunderstand on what people want. We want more options such as facial tattoos.. beards for the boys.. multiple makeup options for everyone. It is so ridiculous that I can't have blush, eye-shadow and freckles.. why only one? Games from 20yrs ago could pull it off yet 'we don't want it to be to real'? ... ugh...

Well, the server limitations for this game concern me regarding longevity. They seriously cant add 2 faces per race? It seems a bit absurd.

Yeah, they're clearly not interested in actually solving the housing problem. The only real way to do that is to go with instanced housing. It immediately eliminates supply issues AND allows for greater item limits and more controls over customization.

I totally agree, neither is ideal.

My question was more directly pointed at DamianFatale and his quote below on how he can't stand anyone who suggests a lottery system, and that it's the worst idea EVER.

I mean, I can see why hair is easier to add then faces, faces have multiple parts to them that need to be rigged and animated to emote properly, while hair just need minor texturing and basic fluidity added to it.
Not to say that I think allowing each race to have at least have 6 faces each would put too much of a strain on the system... :B

That's not what he was talking about, I think. Actual rendering is client side so that's nothing the servers have to worry about. And I think most people agree that what Yoshi talked about wasn't adding more face options, but things like splitting the Au Ra horns into their own option. Adding sliders and categories, in short. Not because it'll be harder to render or anything, that's a client-side concern, but because if you're in a room with 100 other players, instead of X pieces of information the server has to send each of them so that they can render you, now they'll have to send X + 1 because the horns are their own category. And when you have a player run through Kugane or Rhalgr's Reach, that +1 they need to send out per receiving player in the zone starts building up, all the more so if you have more than the one Au Ra player in there.
In that sense it's a bit funny because they could effectively give you every face + horn option in the game baked into the face category, similar to how we have all sorts of hair options that differ from each other only by accessory. The old Y'shtola hair comes to mind where the beads are silver or gold, or the hairstyles with hair-bows. Extra options, same number of categories.
