Erk. Also the last bit kind of contradicts everyone saying XIV will fade out of existence once they started billing. :3

Will translate more tonight. Here's some additonal tidbits about new stuff:

- Smartphone app at 2.0 launch linked to Free Companie, to manage gear and events. Plan other functionalities, everything will be free, but can’t tell more atm.

Plan to add a casino in the future, might call it Golden Saucer.

We really want to balance Instanced content and Open World content to have a real MMO, not a MO, that will appeal to both hardcores and casuals.

The possibility of a Mac OS version of the game will be studied once PC and PS3 versions are launched.

Xbox Live and its 44m members are appealing, but servers would need to be separated from the rest since Xbox 360 is a “closed” system.

Yes, everything Sephrick said is accurate.

Also, he really means to balance Open World and Instanced content, he wants the game to feel lively, so people should stop stressing about that.
