Why is it difficult for you to make an effort not to be offensive. Where did I say I lord my gear over others? Where did I say I mock people?

You've made so many assumptions in your response about me that you have zero basis for. You're the kind of person I'd rather avoid since you base your opinions of people on flight and fancy than reality. I only responded to the one quote here because it shows just how badly you're assumptions are. Many more of your responses are off too but that would just be a waste of time. You're wrong about me in general though mr assumption maker.

The funny thing to me is I offered this EXACT suggestion as an alternative mode with more drops. Instead you'd rather just complain at me because I didn't accept your version 100% without caveats. I offered more options and you offered less.

I understand her viewpoint completely from a logical point of view, and I agree to a certain extent. However her holier-than-thou art way of presenting her argument is preventing me from sympathizing with it. The same can be said about a lot of the arguments presented in this thread. It's just opinion and bias preventing people from relating to them. *shrug*

No, it's not. That's an assumption about me. You don't know me. You don't know how I treat people in dungeons. You don't know anything about me. Just because I like progression content does not make me an instant undesirable. You are acting in a prejudiced manner.

You don't like how I talk? I'm a very blunt personality and I say what I mean explicitly and directly. (not implicit like Kosmos wants to suggest) You don't need to like me and I personally don't care either way, but it doesn't change the content of my message or the reasoning behind it.

You know how people today keep complaining how no one pulls adds off the healers or how tanks don't do their job properly? Allowing people to steamroll old dungeons with fresh players will only magnify the problem since they aren't learning anything.

Do you really think that any fresh 50 would want to just sit back and not get any enjoyment out of a game they are paying money to play each month? I'm sure there probably is, there are tons of lazy people out there. But there are also those who enjoy the stuff that they "worked for" to get, not handed to them. Some people actually like to have a sense of accomplishment. Not the everyone gets a trophy attitude.

When you overgear content by such a vast amount, it makes a mockery of that content and players with level/content appropriate gear. That is how you mock people. Whether you intend it or not it is a consequence of you overgearing things so heavily. Whether you appreciate it or not, the players on the receiving end of your presence in a dungeon can very easily feel mocked since their efforts are essentially irrelevant due to your presence.

I am not making an assumption, however you are ignoring the consequences of you vastly overgearing content, remember you already said you don't care about that content being relevant, and only care about your gear and progression. Your gear alone mocks the difficulty of some content.

In a game with level sync, using the best end game gear without level sync in place very much tacitly mocks the content. The point of the OP in this topic is to restore the balance to the level 50+ content that the game creators explicitly enforced in pre-50 dungeons with full level and ilvl sync. In that context the gear that is 50+ ilevels above what is needed for a given dungeon does indeed make a mockery of the content.

It may be the case that the content can be blown through, but you can not use that against me as if I'm making a personally mockery of the dungeon. You're taking that interpretation too far and assigning the results to individuals. That's wrong.

I still find it funny that I even offered an optional mode that does exactly what is wanted in this thread, but everyone's all up in arms because I didn't 100% agree with the suggestion.

It's called a middle ground people. Compromise. I don't want to run level synced dungeons, but my option doesn't stop YOU or someone else from doing it. The suggestions in this thread do however prevent others from getting through old content quickly and easily thus forcing everyone to play one way. Why don't you actually try addressing my actual suggestion instead of attacking me every single response? Is that too novel of an idea?
