I think that they should not ease up on your FIRST relic. But for relics after, they should make it a lot easier to upgrade, i.e. a one time fee, kinda like how we can now purchase the original relics from the calamity salvagers.
No, suffer as we all did lol
I'd like it if they did something to make atma more reasonable, but I don't know if I really care anymore. I got my i110 soldiery weapon for less than half the effort of what I've put into just the atma part of the quest, assuming they keep having alternatives that are significantly less terrible than the relic quest I don't know why anyone would bother starting the relic quest at this point.
No. Everything is perfect. Nothing should change. Ever.
You are obviously clueless. I spent 2 months alone in thanalan for that atma. I have done probably 3 hrs or more per day and had taken me over 3 months to get 12 atmas. The 3000 fate achievent i got a very long time ago because of it, so that is good i guess?
Some people atmas just drop in a day, a few days, a week, etc. but some of us it has been just terrible.
It is pure RNG. Now at the same time for those of us that have taken so long to get them i certainly do not want the rate changed so players are handed over atma. You know sort of like they have done with hunts and soldiery gear. Gods myth gear took so long to get back in the day
One fate in particular in sylph lands (sigh hate that place) had taken a total of 7 hrs to show up for me (atma book)
I agree.
Though I still think people are mainly frustrated with the RNG aspect.
Animus books are controlled, predictable progress. That's why they seem easy by comparison.
Depending on your wallet and your desire to minmax, Novus will take you a lot longer though.
People are looking at this the wrong way. Don't compare the Atma, Animus, Novus and Nexus quests with each other. They are different. Some people point out that Animus is a far longer grind than the atma part but what they don't realize is that doing the Animus quests is far less mind-numbing than doing FATEs over and over and over.
Atma is by far the worst and most horrible part of the current relic quest line. I'ts monotonous and painstakingly tedious. The Animus books have a more balanced grind: obtain 1300 myths, do a FEW FATEs, kill some mobs, do some dungeons. It's not the same shit that the atma part requires you to do.
Also, for people bringing up this crap, "No! Go through the same hell as I do!" Hate to break it to you but we're actually still in it and have been in it much longer than you have thanks to RNG.
