Who is really optimistic about this game?

To the Op... I have no reason to be Optimistic untill SE gives me a reason to be, this game has been one dissapointing chain of events after the next.

The continuing downward spiral of the player base is also a concern of mine. Even if they fix things one by 1. How long can SE continue flushing money into a project that is doing nothing but losing them cash everyday they are not charging monthly subscription fees? They have to cut their losses sooner or later.

Sums up how I feel pretty well. They've done basically nothing with the game except add basic features and enlarge shit since release.

I laughed, the humour is strong in this post.

I'm optimistic for the long term but not the short term, maybe 2 years down the road they will have a good game on their hands.

2.0 looks good but I still think they will be lacking when it launches, time will tell.

HI I DON'T PLAY ANYMORE BUT SOMETIMES COME HERE TO SEE WHATSUP BUT EARLIER IN THREAD I HAVE PLAYED SO HA

I am enjoying the game as it is today, so I am pretty optimistic about FFXIV will turn out to become a solid MMO once all the changes has gone through. No game has ever been created where there has never been 1 person who complains, and there never will be.
After 26+ years of playing games, i have learned to accept the good along with the bad that might reside in a game.

Looking forward to see the 7th Umbral Era fall upon us soon:)

The fact that I am still here and still playing proves that I have enough optimism to fill Kim Jong Il's grave 1000 times over. I think if it werent for the awsome friends and good people I play with I wouldnt be here. the game is what you make it. if you have a strong Linkshell of friends and are dominating content together and having fun then it doesnt really matter if the game sucks. People still play everquest right?
