People are more active talking about this issue in game than on the forums.

Some who were not effected are seriously considering not re-subbing due to this, as they thing it may happen again and maybe to them next time.

I ask partly out of curiosity and partly out the fact that the line of thought boggles my mind. First of all there are rules and then there is common sense. Second, money once lost/spent can be reacquired many times over. Time on the other hand is another story. Once time is spent, it's gone forever. It's this very philosophy why SE posted a "don't forget about your life" message every time a player logs into Final Fantasy 11.

To be fair, scarebarz has already posted that he is saving up for expensive gear for him and his wife. I can respect that. KevinC also made a good point. We don't know what the houses will cost so why not aim high?
It's the whole "spending time to make money with no goal" thing that leaves me scratching my head. Why throw time out the window over money if you have no goal? I just think it's such a waste. But that's me.
