Yea and then some red mage comes in and hogs all the rezzes for themselves to farm a title.

At the very least in Bozja, healers in general and WHM especially are DPS monsters only beaten by few true dpses + actually have some mana concern.
I wonder if that will happen again in Occult Crescent.
I expect there will be some combos that allow you to break the trinity somewhat and have 'actual DPS numbers' as a non-DPS
For example, Time Mage might allow certain actions (cough Misery) to 'rewind' to the moment before execution, allowing you to get extra uses from them. Or 'Quicken' to instantly set their CD to zero and allow an instant use
Chemist might allow you to mix that one combo from FF10 that guarantees every hit is 9999 (good for many-hits-per-GCD actions like the DOT, or small OGCD hits like Energy Drain)
Ranger I only remember because of X-Attack (which we now know as Barrage on BRD), which hits 4 times. So, 4x Misery, for example? Only game I've played with Ranger in is FF5, so IDK if they made it more than 'X-Attack - the job' in a later installment
Maybe they’re worried somebody would list up their main’s name into that burn list spreadsheet. Which is, hey—a valid concern!
Personally I took being put on such a list as a badge of honor
The part that annoyed me was that they considered an EW clear of an old Ultimate (TEA/UCOB/UWU) as being more 'hardcore' points than clearing said Ultimate in the expansion it was released.
Give me my 5 points for clearing TEA on content!
I see that they implement a faster cast time to AST in the past that was quite well received in its time then got an idea how everybody wants a faster cast time without understanding why it can work with X job & why it won’t with Y jobs.
RIP BLM turret. Not even you can escape the Trashologification.
honestly expecting RDM to have had some hit in this patch as well. Separating Grand Impact from Jolt/Impact probably, maybe also adding a weave window to Jolt/Stone/Fire and/or extending the spellblade combo's range.
