1) I guess finishing Bahamut's Coil was a piece of cake for u.
2) A Boss will not have repetitive patterns when the Boss is not a list of codes but rather a player/GMs/Yoshi playing behind it.
3) Was that before or after you have memorized the patterns after lots of runs?
4) Tell that to those who just started Titan HM. Or did you had a perfect run on your first few tries?
5) I'm almost end game set, I'm still getting request and invites for primals and dungeon runs on an hourly basis from my FC, allied FCs, and sometimes even random strangers. You must constantly be in the inn from the time you login until you logout to not have anyone party with you.

not subbing any further because:
1. Cleared Turn 1 through 4 in less than 2 hours in Coil with only one wipe (due to serverside LAG), brand new FC attempting it.
2. The first time leveling to 50 was great, the next two jobs to 50 was... FATE FATE FATE. Very boring. Yes other stuff to do but only a select few dilly dally lvl 1-49 with side dungeons. Most others would like to get to 50 and play endgame. Hunting Logs don't give you much and waste time/teleport money compared to the EXP gained from FATE with 50% exp bonus.
3. ENDLESS grinding of the same instance over and over. AK runs, CM runs. Every mmo has grinding but my god is it that hard to just give the primal battles a few myth more tombs? The amount of time required to grind is stupid not to mention Extremely boring.
4. Horrible players. Yes people are new, I am one of the few who actually don't say anything to them when they are in my group playing terrible, i would just carry them and explain shit. But my god, is it really that hard to move out of huge red circles on the ground? Especially after the 3rd, 4th, 5th time wiping? Every boss fight at endgame has pretty much the same mechanics. Watch your feet, adjust your camera, dps adds, stay out of the front and back of the boss. Even with the use of macros and /yell commands stating what abilities come next, people will still just be lazy and die so they are carried.
5. These forums: I can't stand how the mods respond to posts about character creation and such, instead of major in-game issues. BETA was WAY better with professional responses. Who cares what you look like when the game is so incredibly stale and boring after your first 50. Pay attention to the 100+ pages and +1000 Likes on important issues/bugs!!
6. Random things in-game that FF14 developers should have told players about in a tutorial or somewhere else. For example: Switching grand companies - 30 day cooldown. Would be nice to know that before you do it. Oh and not to mention lvl 55 crafted gear completely owns a lot of the Darklight gear. But wait, be careful buying from certain people you might get banned, be careful crafting those items you might be banned.... your kidding right? I feel bad for a lot of those players I guarantee most of them did nothing wrong but just loved to make money. Sell Titan Runs? Go ahead at least those people buying it don't have to wipe endlessly for weeks with idiots who /shout IM EXPERIENCED ON PHASE 3, then die to landslides before heart phase, or deal with 2 tanks Duty finder queues....really? Whats the other tank there for, moral support? Wait a minute, on that note, most fights endgame don't even need 2 tanks but Duty finder thinks so ....+20-30min to the runs. A half DL-geared paladin can rip through CM by himself with 2 heals and dps with no issues, no 2nd tank needed. Even Ifrit HM the PLD can shield bash the Eruption ability just by knowing the Bosses scripted rotation.
7. Having BRD be top DPS. Should I even have to explain this one? 480DPS burst with 300-320DPS over a 5-10min fight - the ability to move freely while casting and have mana battery song for everyone else. Just OP. Poor Warriors... wait whats a warrior I don't see any of them really at endgame raiding. Why would you even bring one of them to coil - give them some sort of interrupt on a small cooldown.
8. Gold sellers / RMT - How did all those people get banned yet I have 140 on my blacklist and adding about 5 a day whenever i stop by a major city. I even get in-game mails from them - at least they are saying 'sorry to bother' now before they give the sales pitch. Moving on up i guess. SE your gonna have to increase the 200 limit btw on blacklist.
9. Duty finder - where do i even start? Titan DF que'n with 2 tanks? Really? 140minute queues on Monday-Wednesday night and sometimes sundays for DPS. Meanwhile idiots who insta-que as Tank can just leave the zone wait 15minutes and go again. And why isn't relic quest monsters included in Duty finder -Chimera/hyrda?
10. The BS that led up to release. All these promises given about keeping the community up-to-date with issues. Yeah right. Like i said before, we get responses to things no one that I know cares about. I must not know that many people or something?
Bottom Line - I did sub for 90 days, which blows, because this game really sucks once you realize there is nothing at 50 to do besides the same instance over and over. At least make it so if you change jobs on your character you can re-enter Coil or something?
Don't get me wrong, I did like the game before. And yes, I am angry, and its because i REALLY liked this game in BETA and i really was on Yoshi/SE side and defended it against my friends who said it would suck. The forums are meant for bitching to an extent and hopefully some of you understand im more frustrated there is nothing to do but the same old shit over and over. But now there is nothing to defend against. The game is pretty crappy imo and VERY boring. There is nothing else out to play so yes you'll catch me online Mondays if it isn't laggy for one or two hours clearing all the content available to us.
For the OP its all about if you want to play or not. Take some notes from the people who are upset, there is a reason why they are. Maybe you don't fancy end-game stuff you like leveling, for me though I'll wait in hopes the game completely changes in the future to a real solid MMO i've been looking for. -

Don't think il will subscribe, at least for now.
Reasons:
- Primary issue: Lag and terrible netcode. Endgame is pratically unplayable for me.
- Primary issue: Every instance should be on Duty Finder, including Chimera, Hydra and Coil.
- Primary issue: Fate farming is TERRIBLE and it's our only option to level jobs after the first one, due to lack of quests and bad xp on dungeons and levequests.
- Secondary issue: Some QoL stuff that really annoy me (especially the chocobo issues).
- Secondary issue: Crafting is pretty cool, but NOT when you have to process tons of raw materials. It takes WAY too much time and effort, and quick synthesis (which is not that quick anyway) is not an option due to really low XP gain.
I'll probably try out the 2.1 patch if I don't start playing something else in the meantime... not sure. But I'm not subbing for now. -

sadly i wont be renewing, maybe later though, for me between lvl 38-43 (300000 until lvl 44) there not enough story for me, just seems to focused of fates for exp and that just is mind numbing boring. its like, do a few story quests then its locked as im not that lvl but then there's only fates to get me to next story quest as no side missions. i only have 2-maybe 3 hours game time most nights and i dont really want to wait over an hour just to get in a dungeon.

I really like the game and want to subscribe but there is one thing that may stop me.
Gil spam. I have never seen anything like this and I've played every MMO there is. This is absolutely inexcusable and if it isn't fixed WILL kill this game.
I'm disgusted that these morons are able to spam the way they do. Is there really no spam prevention? Can't post 20x within a 10 second window at THE VERY LEAST?
The thing is, if they can't fix this, they can't run an MMO. It's a show of incompetence and if it's not fixed within a couple weeks I'm gone and won't be recommending the game to anyone.
One more thing that I HATE in this game. Questing. I'm sorry but I don't care what game it is I hate linear questing. It's not challenging it's just a waste of time running all over the place killing 3 of these and picking this up. I have ZERO interest in the story of this game so don't force me to do this crap. Right now I'm questing to get my chocobo and it's terrible. Just let me buy the damn thing.
I'd rather be running around doing fates, dungeons, crafting, hunting list, or guild leves ... ANYTHING but the "main quest". I can put up with it because I know after wasting a ton of my time I won't have to do it again but damnit, when it comes to recommend this to my friends I just can't because of how linear and boring the questing is. 1-15 was utterly shameful in quality to the point of almost quitting.
So gil spammers and FORCED questing are a real downer for me. Most everything else is fantastic. I love the game, just such a shame on these 2 fronts. -

So in the beginning of the game, he made it "take it all" course of action. Making it mega easy to burn through the levels.
For a single job. The rest rely on FATE grinding which kills this game for me, personally. It will pain me to level other jobs.
I also don't want to stare at a tree all day. I took my time. I didn't buy a UGC today on my work break but I'll probably get one again so I can finish to 50 and see how things pan out and also will probably re-sub FOR THE LALA'S!

Really here's my real complaint and I've been dying to list it lol.
- The FATE grind is the worst thing in this game for me. I was excited for it since GW2 was pretty cool with it. Now, it's abused and mega boring. I can't do it. I mean this is pretty much the deal breaker. You want me to spam coil forever till 2.1 because FATE's ruin this game?
- Lack of social shiz to do: Minigames and swimming and other crap. No underwater combat? Why can't we swim?
- Crafting is near useless, fishing is useless the most as only 2 fish is useful lmao. Does anyone use cooking? All crafts must be 50 to prove of any use.
It's more of a hobby than anything.
- RMTS: Killing the towns. Ban people who try to make money lmao. Okay how to play the market with RMT's now?
- Linkshells: Anyone use these?
- Chocobo companions: Lol.
- Everyone looks the same, is the same: Same outfits, same traits, same crap. No variety at all.
- Limit breaks are a joke, all there is to it. The trailer made it look exciting. Yeah, because the only cool one is Black Mages and Summoners.
There is no tactical need to use limit breaks.
- Lag in the game, why is there lag every other night?
- Community is sad. I might as well go back to LoL with these bad peoples.
Speaking of LoL, that requires lots of communication and teamwork. This game has no thought.
Do not tell me to wait till Coil. I don't want to wait of a single dungeon to actually use my brain.
- Game has less than a F2P: Yeah...that's all. It's a reboot people. Game is 2 years old.
This game needs help and I am sure they have much planned in later patches, as of now but this is pretty disappointing.

I want this game to survive and all but damn. I hope they fix things. I don't feel like it's worth the pay but I do want Square to be strong and have a healthy community and contents. Right now it feels like a F2P with Final Fantasy tagged on it's name. Just wish I had the same "OMFG!!!" feeling like I did in P3. Still thinking about it since it's only 13 bucks and 2.1 around the corner.... -

Maybe, all that considered, wow had the same, slightly less, or slightly more content. The difference is they were setting a trend (the first real mainstream mmo), other companies trying to be, to some degree, like wow, have to have a draw large enough to retain players while they add more.
While the story is good, and a lot of work went into CM and Prae, perhaps they should have focused on what players would actually be doing than hammering out two absurdly easy "raids". You could, very likely, do CM and Prae in all lvl40 white armor if people knew how to dodge well. -
