Well I ordered the SE from Amazon (had a CE but cancelled and tried to reorder because I couldn't find my EA code back on the 11th), but my code says it is no longer valid. It ended with AELC.

Where "AAAAAA-000-AAAAAA-000" is the code that was given to you. I thought I was fine because I registered the first 20-digit code I received when I initially got into the Beta but I had to redeem this code here to get into Early Access.

***Edit*** I am currently downloading my client updates so it worked!
It's been 5 days and 4 SE support emails so far since I first received an error 2 code "Error 2: The code entered has already been used." while trying to obtain my registration code. So far I have not received any return emails from SE on how they can address this issue and their call centers have been far to busy to handle this by phone. Why is no one addressing this issue? Anyone out there that has 5-10min to work through this issue? dev's, tech support??? anyone?
Well if I don't get a code by tomorrow, I think I'm going to do my damnedest to cancel my order from Amazon. If this is what happens when they need to do shit, I am taking it as a sign of things to come and getting my money back. I had to choose between this and Saints Row 4.
Before conjuring up the mother of all customer support ****storms, I just want to make sure I'm 100% entitled to what I am asking.
Long story short: pre-ordered physical CE from local retailer (EU) on July 16th and I've patiently waited for my head start code until today. Needless to say: it hasn't arrived. I've contacted the retailer only to be told that they do not deliver headstart codes and that not all retailers do this.
Can someone please confirm that all those that pre-ordered are entitled to 3 days head start regardless of retailer?

the game is great, i very much enjoyed what we got to test in beta. but service and quick response to massive errors and issues among the orders is utter crap, they're spending to much time monitoring the servers to check the complaints department where all the people end up when the servers are empty
not all retailers do and even those that do are limited in how many preorder codes they are supplied like gamestop in the US, some run out but the one across town is not because they sold fewer. if you ordered online i'd check the e-mail receipt or if in person check that receipt then ask the shop keep as you did.
All preorders are entitled to Early Access, but Square Enix only hands out so many codes. So you might be out of luck. Which is totally bogus and I won't blame anyone who cancels their preorder because of that. If Square wanted to do Early Access, it should have been lottery-style, not "first come, first serve". Nor should it have required two codes (one from retailer, one from Square Enix for the system you're on).
I got my code from Gamestop in the US and it says the early access code is invalid.
Oh, I enjoyed the Beta a lot. Phase 3 convinced me to preorder. But it doesn't matter how good the game is with an MMO; if I can't rely on the company to provide service (like fulfilling promised Early Access for preorders), I won't pay a $15/month subscription for it.
I ordered the CE for PS3 on gamestop.com a month ago and still havent gotten a pre-order code... can anyone help me out?

I read those from 1.0 had access to the early access. But when I log in it says I have no characters to go to a link that's not even active yet. Odd enough during beta phase 3 and 4 I was able to play my character from the 1.0 just fine. Even during phase 4 it had my character transferred to the server I requested. My account status on SE shows my FF14 registered and active.
I bought the game weeks ago from the Square Enix Shop, but I haven't received the early access code yet. I've checked my mail hundreds of times. This is so frustrating...
purchased the game on the square Europe store 12 hours ago sending code to my Hotmail address. nothing.
friend purchases half an hour ago and immediately gets his code. is this a known issue? is there a fix? I'm not getting any responses from support at all :(
I entered the pre-order code for early acces and after a hour later still dont have a email or cant log in anyone els got this too?:(

And how do you distinguish between an order and a pre-order when the code for the pre-order is lacking?

It's the right there in black (+blue, red) and none of the many fine print disclaimers say there's a chance that once we, squeenix, share our gratitude for the trust our clients have placed in us there's quite big chance that you'll get overlooked with no connection to the moment in time you have pre-ordered (my case: 45 days ago).
If I had (Legacy) by my name in the Beta, that means I'm Legacy? If so, I didn't get my early access code. I was playing for at least 3 months before the great maintenance. Pls halp.
Im not sure I understand the bonus item's in the Collector's Edition fully. I have purchased my CE weeks and weeks ago and received my collector's edition today from Amazon to my surprise as amazon told me it would likely arrive on Tuesday. Now I have a 12 digit code ( xxxx - xxxx - xxxx ) inside my gamebox with the game's xxxxxx - xxx - xxxxxx - xxx registration code. I have already registered my 18 digit code on Square's site, however on the 12 digit code the card say's I need to redeem this code in the PS store or through account management. I can only assume that this 12 digit code is for the bonus item's, but when I try to redeem this code I get an error 'The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid. Please check your entries.' I have made sure that the entries are completely correct but still no dice.
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or is this code nothing to do with the bonus item's? I hear that they will be in the moogle mail on launch day but I could only be a beta tester and not bought the CE, how will the game know to deliver me these item's I bought?

I finally got pasted all the error 3 messages and when my pre order code finally got accepted it directed me to the playstation network registration code. Thanks for nothing. i cant do anything with that, i cant register my pc game now. Im out $30 and early access. I have a PS3 code thats now useless to me. 9 hours since i submitted a ticket about it and still not so much as a "we received your ticket and will get back to you"
now i either have to buy a game and waste another $30 and hope i can get in, or find someone who wants to trade their PC code for a PS3 code.

I have entered both my 6-3-6-3 digit code and my 4-4-4-4-4 digit code. I feel like I've completed the whole process for early access but when I try to log into the client it still tells me that there is "No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn." And tries to redirect me to FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station. And now counts my codes as being used already. Please help!
Purchased the digital collectors edition through Square Enix August 13/2013 still haven't received my early access code. Really annoyed at this point. Their phone services are down and so is live chat.
I just preordered the game on Amazon.com, i guess I don't have legacy status like I thought.. but the amount of numbers the preregistration code for early access is short? It keeps giving me "invliad ID"
No idea what to do.
I bought the CE edition, i entered the code, and now, how do I get the items? Or they're not there yet? Please someone helpl.

I ordered my digital download from SE, who uses DigitalRivers services. I did not receive a pre-order code when I ordered but did receive one a few days later from SE with an apology. However when I tried to use the code this morning for early access I keep getting Error #2 saying that the code has already been used. I have no games registered to me under my profile & I cannot log into the game.

So I am Pre-Order/CE/Legacy 1.0. I have the client on my Laptop however my laptop can barely run the game (I can login though so I KNOW I have EA). I had to format my PC recently however and cannot find a way to get the client installed here, I even tried to copy the beta 4 client installer from my laptop but it seems yesterday SE had a problem with their EULA so they changed it, now whenever I try to accept the EULA I get a script error notice and I cannot click on the next button. My ps3 also ran the game fine during phase 4 so I tried to login with that and I receive "No valid or active service account" I am not sure if my problem is the same as everyone elses as I do not have a preorder code, nor will I get one. My accounts are linked on SE, my legacy account is active (as well as a second one that I don't entirely understand). and I am unable to enjoy the game.
10 hours after the Early Access began and I haven't received any code yet... Where is the SE Support Team?
I bought my preorder copy from SE for ps3, got my preorder code, got all the way to "the wait for early access" message on the launch pre early access start.
Now I apprently have, "No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn", because getting screwed out of phase 4 cause of 9999 and 3201 errors wasn't bad enough...
And to had more nails to the coffin, I'm not getting this when I try to log in to the lodestone, "Use of the Lodestone requires a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account with at least one character.
Please log-in again after you have created a character in-game."

I entered my pre-order code here http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and then entered my registration code here http://entry.ffxiv.com/pre-order_code/eu for my EU account but it says wrong region. Apparently I was given an NA code? Anyway to fix this?
(im from the na but i accidently made this an EU account when i first made it so there must be something causing them to give me an NA account because of my location maybe?
I tried entering my pre-order code on both eu-na pre-order pages but it gives the same code. Something is making it tell the site to give me an NA code and i need an EU.
I'm confused I've been playing since ver 1.0 to ARR beta phase 3 and 4. I bought a FFXIV CE when it first came out, ver 1.0, and i'm not sure if I qualified for early access. I assumed I'd have access to early access, but when i try logging into the game the launcher redirects to me a screen that says "No valid or active service account is available to play FFXIV ARR."...?
Does anyone else have this problem? And whats the fix?
So I'm guessing the items we aren't getting until Tuesday for the digital collectors?
