Frog mounts from extreme trials.
Frog mounts from extreme trials.
Consolidate some of the Wondrous Tails entries. For example, count Labyrinth of the Ancients, Syrcus Tower, and World of Darkness together as one Crystal Tower entry; or count Alexander Eyes/Breath/Heart/Soul of the Creator together as one Alexander: Creator entry.
gonna add to this actually.
Afflatus Rapture unlocked 20ish levels earlier than it is now. Swap it with Thin Air.
Presence of Mind becoming a 2 min cd.
Living Dead not being complete trash.
Dark Missionary moved to lvl70 or below so its present in lvl70 content, namely UWU and UCOB. Same for Temperance.
Blood Weapon being changed to 5 stacks instead of 10s.
Unleash being made a weaponskill instead of a spell so its actually affected by skillspeed.
Storm's Eye not taking 3 gcds to put up. Just make it a button at this point like FoF. or make Infuriate grant 30s of Eye.
Return of Palisade, Apocatastasis, Refresh and Mana Shift.
Return of aoe DoTs aka Aero 3 equivalent but for all healers.
Bards to actually be affected by their own damn songs.
Umbral Soul moved to earlier level.
Crystal Tower alliance raid series removed from Alliance Roulette and placed in MSQ roulette.
It's absolutely part of the MSQ. That's why the Crystal Tower Alliance Raid series is required for MSQ progression. This was introduced in 5.3.
All duties in that pool give a large amount of experience for basically zero effort. it'll still be very popular.
Fix the item level sync in low-level content so it has some bite again. I'd love to see the sheer rage that would happen if people had to remember that Glasya Labolas actually has mechanics.
Actually...I kinda Support the idea.
Mainly because it would give MSQ Roulette more then 2 dungeons, but also being MSQ Roullete Raid Dungeons now, they could still be woth MILLIONS of Gill a Daily Grind.
Plus they are easymode, in more then half the time.
We might see Castrum and Prae less un the MSQ Roulette, but then we'd see other raids more often in the allience raid roulette
The difficult part is that Prae and CM are 8 man dungeons while CT raids are alliance raids, so it may affect queues in a way where it's actually CT which may never see the light of day again due to needing 3 times more the amount of people, not to mention the XP disparity - which, btw, already needs some tuning. CM gives barely more than a normal leveling roulette run for basically double the time, compared to Prae which gives anything from 2 entire levels to half a bar [depending if you're in the 50's, 60's or 70's range], no wonder people always leave.
As a summoner main. Being able to walk around with either Garuda, Leviathan, Shiva, Ramuh, Titan or Ifrit by my side. The regular looking ones. Not the egis.
A Monster Hunter Rise Collab that introduces some weapons from that game as new jobs.
Gunlance as a tank
Heavy Bowgun as a DPS
Hunting Horn as a Healer
Don't give me weird looks. This is supposed to be a wish list of stuff we assume has no chance of happening :P lol
Fix class design so every job doesn't feel so simple a monkey could play it.
Dungeons that don't follow the same basic linear formula we've had since 2.0
Any sort of progression system that isn't just doing expert roulette every day for tomes.
My big 3.
A new deepdungeon p.p
No let us choose who we want set free and who will be Hydaelyn. Minifillia or Ardbert. The one we choose to Set free, comes in our Team and for that we can choose who we want to get rid off. I would choose Ardbert, let Minifillia be Hydaelyn and kick Y'shtola out.
Since we're going for things we know most likely wont happen...
Playable moogles. I need more ways to make moogle noises than moogle weapons. :P
They could even be the more humanoid moogles used in the tactics games.
TBH I wanted playable moogles in FF MMO since FFXI launch... >.>
Add minimum competence mechanism check in normal group content. The idea is to have gate keeper to check ilvl and competence of player. The check would be the bare minimum of what is awaited from a role.
- For tank > a tank buster that needs a cd to survive. If failed, the boss enrages and wipes the group.
- For healer (1st idea) > a needed esuna which wipes the group if not cleaned.
- For healer (2nd idea) > Big group damage that needs to be healed quickly.
- For DPS > A DPS check which needs at least the use of the standard rotation and ogcd with the minimum ilvl of the dungeon
The idea is to have those check once per minor patch, preferably at the beginning of the content at the patch dungeon. Blocking any other group content if you fail. If you want to be more specific, could gate keep content per role and not per character. If you want to be less demanding, do it at the beginning of a major patche.
I don’t expect anything, but I would like to see a lot more Quality of Life work done.
- Like, more consolidation of NPC shops along the lines of what they did for Rowena’s stuff.
For example, we really don’t need so many NPC merchants scattered around: each NPC in a general area should just go to the same shop menu with a variety of different categories to buy from. Not saying city wide, but all the market NPCs combined, or all the different token/tomestone/etc vendors in Eulmore/Rhalgar’s. Or all the PvP guys.
I guess that’s just down to limitations in code.- Fix whatever causes the markets to do a “your searching too fast, please wait and search again”
- Ability to target a specific gatherable item and have a highlighted area to find it, as opposed to “where is the nearest node” (this was a pain when Ishgard restoration was going on overlapping many normal nodes). A book like the fishing one would work.
- Better physics and/or hit box. Like an actual video game jump that you can adjust trajectory mid air.
After clearing the hardest jumping puzzles in GW2 and their Super Adventure Box HM, nothing else brought me to my knees questioning my platforming abilities than that stupid Kugane tower. Even then I cheesed the hell out of it with my wife.- More attention to distant views in 2.0. Especially with flying, there needs to be some kind of something in the distance. Like, a forest or something. Also the textures look pretty awful/tiled from far.
That they don't have an invisible ceiling in Labrynthos. The zone design has an actual ceiling, let us fly right up to it. Put a sightseeing log on that artificial sun.
Housing shared across alts. It would give me a reason to actually level one.
Enough housing-zones in every region for everyone to get the house they want.
I want deep Dungeons back
Sliders in character creation
DPS rotation for healers or more damage in raids
Life letters translated with subtitles in english
nice outfits in the new events
1. A new Deep Dungeon
2. Full arsenal of EX weapons for later jobs, potentially; ARR and ShB EX weapons for Sage and Reaper, plus extending ARR and SB weapons for GNB and DNC.
A good working mentor system. I dont think that will happen in ANY expansion ; )
Viera's having the option to crop down their standard viera heels from thigh-high to ankle-height so we can wear trousers while keeping the stereotypical viera appearance.
https://i.ibb.co/WD3v2YH/thumbnail-v...eswrgwerg2.png
QOL - Retainer Venture - collect all retainer venture loot and send them all back to whatever venture they previously completed with 1 button lol.
Glamour Toggles
Actual depth with combat jobs.
-Rework the Essence system to create specializations.
-Gear has modifiers like how the Bozja gear has haste.
Let us do solo instances with friends. Make them tougher.
A new hall of the novice called hall of the intermediate or advanced that'll show past mechanics.
An afk system that works.
Hrothgar and vieara hats that don't need a third party mod.
Give our characters actual butts and not the Hank Hill type we have now. And no those 2B leggings aren't a good substitute.
More than 2 and a half job designers. Extra credit if one is actually familiar with playing a healer.
Brewmaster as a new DoH job... I feel like we should have gotten this when we got dwarves... >.>
Digitigrade Feet for Hrothgar
Shiny DNC and GNB Weapons from Tsukuyomi, Zurvan, etc.
I'm all for free-for-all glamours, but AF armor is about the only actual consistent armor with an iconic visual identity, so that probably should still belong to its jobs, as much as I would love to mix and match them.
The whole general "this is tank armor" or "this is mage armor" thing in this game is incredibly inconsistent and heavily diluted, so yeah those make little sense.
On topic, adding to the thing:
I'm pretty sure it will come eventually, just seems that is not an EW release feature: Enhanced customization options for the OG races, like freedom to choose Au Ra horns, new face models across the board, more hair color shades, things like body tats, muscle slider for everyone, etc.
AST reworked into something more interesting to play.
