The question is, how many subscribers need to leave before SE will realize that the current drop rate "system" is just about as stupid as humanly possible? What is it going to take? If half the current subs decide to bail as soon as 2.0 hits? If, on top of that, half or more of the new subs bounce after the free trial ends? Will we just keep slogging along until we're down to a single world?
You want to know why there are 213049823049283 threads? Because it seems SE can't be convinced of such an obvious idea: That the terribad drop rate is not something anyone who seriously pursues endgame wants. Crank up the difficulty instead. Do we need 100% drop rate? Not necessarily. But if any of you guys at SE would seriously enjoy fighting Ifrit 200 times just to get one weapon, well, good on you. I don't even want to fight Garuda 20 or 40 times or whatever to get one. You'll be the only guys playing this game a year from now. Not that I think any of you play it now, or else the drop rate wouldn't be so abysmal. Seriously? I mean, just think about it from a larger perspective. If you have to clear every single piece of content 20 to 500 times to get the stuff you want, how on earth is anyone ever going to get anywhere when there is more than like 2 things to do?
