[Critical] Male Viera height slider; tall option. Show your support.

Somewhere between the range of male highlander and male elezen would make them appropriately in the middle between the four in the taller group and the four in the shorter group. (yes, male highlander is in the shorter group lol)

so many insecure males in this thread .... oh no I'm shorter then the female equivalent of a Amazonian bunny race do you get insecure when you see women taller then you in rl too? this is why they should have ignored you... sighs if anything we should shrink the au'ra males too they look stupid

i find it rather funny how people get so personal when people just express another opinion. instead of offending people you could state your point of view and actually read what others are stating, instead of putting words in people’s mouths and making inappropriate comments.

In my opinion max-height ManBuns should be taller than the average Elezen guy, and min-height being shorter than the average Highlander dude, similar to their female counterparts.

Edit: And yeah, it is kinda wild that people are taking personal potshots at one another because they can't accept that not everyone wants rabbits that are the same size as Miqos or even small girl au ras.

Though I would like to see a race get introduced one day that's a step in between girl au ras and lalafells.

but... nobody has questioned his vision? if you mean their height, there is nothing confirmed as of right now, thats why people are discussing it- which proves me yet again that you haven‘t really read any comments and try to twist what people actually are stating. but you do you - go on with you rant and offending people.

I don't think it's likely min/max male viera will be as tall as min/max male elezen/au ra, but it'll probably be just under elezen. It looks like female and male viera will be around the same height honestly. I'd be ok with a slider that allowed for a wider range of heights - both shorter and taller.

Up until now, viera were never seen before. They never had an official appearance and no one knew what they looked like until now. It's not like you can hijack their height - they never had a set height to hijack in the first place. (Just btw, I'm personally very happy with male viera, and I think they fill the niche elezen failed at.) In the end, I think this should be left up to the ffxiv team's vision. That being said, I would like a slider with a wider range of height, and for all races, not just male viera. I'm never going to say no to more customization options.

Sure they do. Not before, but right now those character models exist and the game creators have built them how they think their creation should look.

It definitely feels like "hijacking" to respond to their reveal with "thanks but I urgently need you to implement my opinion of what you should have done with them".

This thread makes it quite clear that some group are going to be unhappy with whatever the creators decide on, so they might as well just ignore all the feedback equally and do what they want with their own design. It was never going to cover the massive spectrum of what people envisaged the race might look like.

I'm referring to their height when compared to female viera. We just don't know if they're shorter, same height, or taller yet. Until the benchmark comes out or if their height is confirmed earlier, no one knows for sure.
