Have we given up on SCH?

As someone who is clearing E4s soon as SCH, healing is alright on savage, same as ever. The savage fights themselves are fun, so you aren't as focused on how boring your class itself is, but that also tends to only be in the learning phase. Problem is, once you've learned the fight, it's the same as any other content, you're sitting there spamming 1 button until someone gets a big ouchie, then you stop to heal, then back to spamming 1 button.

As someone who cleared early on, this is the case. Mind you we haven't really looked at optimizing yet but I expect it to get even more boring once we do

Ah, if it's more of the same getting to savage, then possible it'd be the savage I'd enjoy rather than necessarily SCH's ability to handle it, except maybe to begin with when I get to heal more? I guess. I actually like the healing toolkit itself, just not had content to match it. But am prolly not gonna try it on Savage, I decided to give SCH a try all the way into level 80 content and am still trying to enjoy it, I found myself getting the experience we predicted back in the media tour. Savage would just be another carrot on the stick. And it wouldn't matter if it wasn't, because everything else would still be boring.

As also someone who clear it 3 lockouts ago, I still think its fun, ofc it will get easier on time and more geared.

About dungeons if its not a very big pull I agree its boring but havent that always being the case? I dont remember dungeons to be any hard or particulary fun moments.

The problem isn't difficulty,the problem is that there's not enough to do, regardless of content. Even if it's easy, I want more to do other than spam 1 button over and over and over again.

Exactly. Give me something to do in easy content besides one button DPS spam.

If I'm playing DRG there's minimal difference in rotation or the number of buttons pressed on a hard fight vs an easy one. Even in a mindless AoE spam situation there's still a combo and CDs and instants and such to be used. There's always something to do. On healers you have one button, and that's it. No healing needed? Hope you like spamming Broil/Glare/Malefic for the entire fight, because that's the only option. Give me something, anything else to do in those (incredibly common) situations.

It might not be just you. It might be the tank as well.

I think people don't realize that healing is not just on the healer. It's a team effort. If you don't get bad ouchies you don't stress the healers' resources as much. If you use your cooldowns you also don't stress the healers' resources as much. If you ignore those the healer will run out of resources and we all die. If DPS take too long the tank runs out of resources, suffers from really bad ouchies, drains the healers resources and we all die. A party always has an X amount of resources per fight. It's everyone's job to make sure you get enough to clear it.

I can keep you topped off but there is only so much I can do. Others need to take responsability as well. They are responsible for not having really bad ouchies. Or you get a grumpy healer. You don't want a grumpy healer.

This is very true. In the expert roulette, there's a huge variation in how much healing I have to put out from one run to another, even accounting for differing pull sizes.
