Were you in WoD when that happened because someone was kicked from another alliance for that reason.

tbh, yes it can be annoying, but I would never kick someone for it.
I'd just not read the chat log, which is usaully empty in a DF roulette anyway.

Some people aren't meant to play team games (talking about the person that votekicked you) if they get mad cause of some text that isn't offensive to them.

I always assume they have some kind of mental problem and that is why they get angry for small stuff.

I ahd one in ST once with really funny macros. I think he was a monk and he was rping being drunk so he would say stuff and *hic* in the middle of sentences. "Taste my fist! *hic*"

I never understood these RP macros. It seems appealing at first, but when you sit back and think about it, it's really dumb. So let's break this down

You jump into the heavens and rain down hell fire upon your foes and you say "Burn all creation to ash. Dragonfire Dive" This seems really bad ass at first, right? But do you really have to go about naming your attacks? Who honestly does that in a RP scenario.Then every 2 minutes your character says the same exact thing for that attack. Is that another one of his quirks? He seems quite annoying to have around, especially if he's loud about it.

I understand why people do it. You can't go about typing in something new every time you explode. But if you're in a dungeon with non-RPers, it's best to stay away from those or like they've suggested above, use /echo.

Did you guys not read this part? The Tanks and Healers were dropping like flies and it was all 3 alliances and he was doing his best to revive them and heal them with the Weakness debuff on them and their TP and MP on low reserves... they're going to have a rough time without some backup or support and it seems like he was helping them stay alive during the fight otherwise it was going to be a wipe.

Wow, yeah. Um... I rather have a teammate help out their team when the tables turn on them when we lose a Tank or Healer by an unfortunate event and support them until they can get back to doing their job when their reserves are back to optimal levels and depending on the situation focus on helping the team before going back to add unless the add or mechanic is going to do major damage then the focus back on that.

You need more than one vote to get kickd , so you were probly pissing the rest off to with your stupid macro

dont mind the ( stupid ) raise macro's because it dont get used every fight

but even with the long cooldown your claim that still every 2-3 minuts that that shit is going off
if you see the amount of actual communication that happens in a average run , there complete chat log was probly noting els than your stupid macro

I totally agree. I don't mind macros calling out some important moves like provoke, HG, rez, benediction and such, but when its just a DPS calling out his attacks... It is indeed extremely annoying.

I understand about the RP and everything but you RP'ers need to understand aswell that most ppl would be annoyed by that.

Heres an example.Last week i got a BLM in WoD with an obnoxious macro ( with sound effects and everything ) every time he used a flare. Despite having the whole group asking him nicely to remove it before the next pull he kept going on. We had no other choice than kicking him before the 3rd boss and i have no regrets.

If you want to RP and still "call" your attacks, please for the love of the twelve use /echo, or restrict the use of these macros for when you play with ppl sharing the same RP mindset.

He can use raise on being either summoner or scholar. Rather than being an arcanist and playing summoner he can put out more dps. As dps you should always maximize dps as much as possible. If he was scholar he would actually provide actual healing and put out decent dps if he wanted.

And yeah macros on attacks when it's not needed is annoying to me.

These kind of macros make me wish there was an /ignore option inside instances. Then the party members who enjoy them can see them while those who find them annoying can ignore them.

It is a bit annoying when people use macros for rez, eye for eye and virus. I am sorry to tell you this, but you need to pay attention to the icon next to the person name on your pt. I have seen people that already use swifttcast trying to rez others and with macro so the other healer that could instantly rez don't cuz of the previous macro saying you are rez someone.

Give a windon time of 3-4 sec to see if someone else will rez others. For virus, you can see the debuffs on the monster you are attacking. You can see eye for eye icon too. if you are lvl 50 and didn't learn how those buffs look then there is something wrong.

I don't mind rp macros. Some of them are fun to watch. If they are enjoyable it is a plus for me. I don't rp myself or use a single macro. I just play BM (battle mode) style. I don't talk at least they are talking directly to me or in the very beginning.
