Augmented IW Body has always been weighted higher. However, the Spellspeed does not necessarily help you whereas the DET from the Demon Robe of Casting will influence your damage much more then that 5 INT you would gain from using the Augmented IW, I find.

You want to gear for the ACC of the final raiding turn. This at current is 535 at the least. Anything over that should be attempted to be downsized when possible including but not limited to considering crafted gear as well.

In the case of Ifrit-egi, it's literally a third of your DPS. Misses are pretty significant.

What does your Egi rotation on T10 and 11 look like ? Do you use Garuda full time on T10 and Ifrit on T11 or do you switch the Egi's mid fights ?

I use Ifrit on both T10 and T11 full time and constantly use his skills. I used to switch to Garuda for the add phase in T11 but using Ifrit on that phase and putting him on the melee node is still superior. I have a second caster in my current setup so I just do egg and melee node now.

I understand that, but any accuracy over your personal hit cap means that its only 30% efficiency, if thats what you're saying, that ifrit is 30% of your damage.

So unless crit, det are literally 3x worse point for point than acc that means that after personal hit cap pet hit cap will not be as significant.

I compared the SMN stat weights to what I came up with for Ifrit (posted on other SMN threads) then factored the Ifrit accuracy stat weight @ 36% value overall and came up with the ballpark value of

0.328 for accuracy below pet cap and above SMN cap.

But that is using the combined stat weights and not whats listed on the gear calculator.

Comparing the most likely two best builds @ and below pet accuracy you can gain 1.5 points but you would lose 7.2 with 22 Pet Accuracy with the weight of 0.328

Normally Accuracy is weighted @ or higher than secondary stats, since it's 0.22% per accuracy below cap. Even with the pet only being worth 30-40% of overall damage it still puts accuracy higher than any secondary stat. The only way I could see that working is if you could get a high enough combination of DET/CRIT for point of accuracy to outweigh that difference. (which is maybe something we'll see in 3.0 if Spell Speed has enough weight)

So do you parse higher using Demon Robe? Since Aug IW is weighted higher I never bothered to test my DPS using Demon Robe.

It works out to 4.065 MD = 1% Damage increase

Then the accuracy is weighted against that @ 0.9 but only at a rate of 36% strictly for pet.

Good to know! Wow thats...crit/det are really that bad huh.

Thats depressing, tbh. In WoW secondaries become more "fun" than primaries at later levels, and you can truly get ridiculous things (like 100% crit, etc). Oh well.

No procs here so everything is just pure damage, makes sense. Thanks again for going over the numbers. Accuracy, ho!
