The job System should unlock at rank 20. With chunks of new jobs unlocking at 30, 40 and 50.

Everyone whines that there is no endgame, then they whine cause they can't level fast enough. Slow down, enjoy the game, experience the classes, crafting, side quests exploration, etc. Take your time and by the time you reach endgame maybe there will be something developed to do.
I do agree with the OP, it should be slowed a bit, that was just in response to posts about slow leveling I've been seeing.
I gusse it is too fast really enough to the point where i would say making a good ammount of content for thos ranks latrer down the line if any at all is sort of pointless considering the time it takes to get past that point, altho there are obviously a group of people that will take it uber slow that could reap some benefits albeit not very far reaching.
agree its only to fast if u want it to be; and u have to know how to in the first place..behests etc. They did it intentionally anyway and said so. So that people could play around with more of the jobs to mix n match. Lead to burn out? huh if anything it helps save time. (Again and that's only if you know how) and the majority of us that have been around its a nice perk in making a new character.
it not that fast plus nothing to do under 20
Consider levelling to 30 basic training. Fundamentals. Staples of warfare.
People give themselves too much credit for owning R30's, so when they say it doesn't take long enough to get to R30...they're just overestimating the worth of a R30 in this game.
Everyone should level every fighting job to 30 if they want to stay competitive. "I don't have disorient" "I don't have out of sight" "I can't incapacitate that part" "I don't have collusion"
Well then get to work, because it doesn't take long.
This system is fine. Up to 30, every class has something useful for every other class. The short levelling time reduces the excuse not to have them.
1-20 is just fine for those people that are just starting. They are getting used to the system and learning the game in general. When the issue comes into play is for those that have ranked up another job to 50 or something close. They understand the leve system and use it to their advantage. Nothing wrong with that.
I would tend to disagree with the assumption that 40 to 50 is slow. Heck, even 30-50 is fine. If you get like minded friends that want to level fast as well. The problem with the ranking system as I see it, is that some people are not using the system to their benefit.
A group of my LS decided to start doing what we call "Sprints". 8 people, utilizing the leves to maximize sp and rank up jobs. 30-40 took 12 days for 2 jobs. This is only ranking during leve cycles with the 8 "best" leves across Uldah and LL. Yes we utilized the fail mechanic. This is not an exploit as deemed by the devs. 40 to 50 took 16 days, again using the same system for ranking. The only difference was at ~R46 we did raptor parties for ~1-2hrs.
So, 30-50 in 28 days and only utilizing the leve system and some grinding for the last ranks. I don't think the system is totally flawed. The only problem is finding those other 7 people that log in on those nights and sit down and have have for a few hrs... like you are supposed to do in a MMO.
TL;DNR: 30-50 ~28 days. TWO JOBS
you can get from 1-50 with a 6 person party doin only leves with no grinding in less than a month. that is only doing the top 6 leves not all 8. dunes/reveries/wills/levinshower/verdure/inferno. start doing those 6 at r20 and watch levels speed by. you can easily do a few leves/behests and get 1-20 in a few hours.
1-20 should be increased. I'm sure with the way the cap is right now, 30-50 could just stay the same.
I'd change it so 1-5 is at least twice as long as it is now and 11-15 is twice as long as previously, with the appropriate adjustments for 6-10 and 16-20.
