Hmm, so a 30% lifetap "Tank Stance".
Some mitigation skills similar to Rampart and Thrill to Battle.
And an invuln similar to Holmgang which shares excess damage.
Well, its interesting information.
The last two skills make me a bit dubious as to the authenticity. They sound far too similar to existing Warrior skills only slightly worse, since it sucks HP away from nearby party members. I can't imagine many people are going to be happy about their HP dropping every time the tank takes a heavy hit with Blood Oath active.

If nothing else it'll be fun to use, and I'm sure it'll spread properly among party members.
Also the guilt one? Use during Oath of Blood. I can already see myself loving the hell out of this class if it's this based on risk=reward.
A little skeptical... It seems like all the skills are just skills from PLD and WAR... Even the emnity combo and MP restoration combo look like renamed PLD combos. Like someone created a "How I Think DRK Will Work" and just changed names and values.

What worries me is that while DRK has the rampart equivalent (which is also an IB equivalent), the sentinel/vengeance equivalent (thirst for justice) seems too weak. It's a double strength thrill of battle without the drk having the double conval to pair with it. Last I read, defiance's 20% hp and + heal isnt even the same ehp as 20% reduced damage. How is that any good for multi hit attacks like dungeon tanking, t9 claws, t13 akh morn?
Speaking of akh morn...can you imagine trying to take on a 3+ hit akh morn with oath of blood without any other mitigation? Considering what's near you is usually the other tank and one or two melees..
Looks like somebody took some PLD skills and a few WAR skills and changed the names of them... I call BS
People who keep commenting that its the same skills as PLD and WAR, well that was going to be obvious because when they tried to make WAR different at the start of the game it got thrown away because it had no damage mitigation and was discarded because it was unable to main tank coil using the mainstream strategies so they turned WAR into PLD by jamming dmg mitigation on a bunch of things and buffing Defiance.
If square made a tank different to the current PLD/WAR dmg mitigation tanking then the DRK would be again discarded when it comes to using cool downs for absorbing hits necessary to beat the newest raid teir.
Plus it says EXCEEDED damage is shared between players which would imply any damage AFTER the 1 hp would be shared, not very trolling if you use it at full hp.
Furthermore it was noted this is old information from last year and is likely to of been heavily modified by now. Nocturnal Fear seems massively overpowered for speedrunning cone stun (since they seem to hate speedrunning, why give DRK a skill that makes it easier) Even more so if you get a sch/smn to spread dot's.
I was hoping to find a Provoke equivalent skill as if I see Drk hold onto one of those it would either mean it is NOT cross classing GLD or has no cross classes at all.
Personally I wouldn't say it's too far off a testing skill set as it does seem to be kind of a wishlist of skills that would likely get nerfed down after some testing, things like Flash that does slow instead of blind, cone aoe stun, silence, berserk with no drawback and the scariest skill of all:
Essentially that is a stack and absorb skill, DRK could use that alongside evil omen and immortal conviction (45% damage mitigation + 40% Max HP buff) An i130 PLD with full VIT accs is likely to have 9000+ hp with 40% onto that they get 12600 hp with 45% mitigation, if you had an AOE that did 4k raid wide you would take 2k per person x7 = 14k + 4k for yourself = 18k minus 45% mitigation = 10800 dmg, that would make eating any big aoe attack almost trivial, you could combine that with oath of blood just in case and you would just reflect any additional damage over your max hp at a mitigated rate back to the players you absorbed it from. That would be in a perfect scenario, you could atleast use it to protect healers and halve their aoe dmg, if this is the case you would easily see DRK being the new speedrun AND world first tank (considering healers have the least HP and are the most likely to die after DRG's magic dmg defense buff from unavoidable aoe's) It would provide not only personal mitigation similar to PLD but also cone aoe stuns for adds and a silence for unstunnable boss magic skills.Quote:

Seems a little too OP for them to be what is likely to be released, alongside a bunch of traits that could enhance those skills and other supplementary skills to go alongside.
But its on a 90 second CD! I have to use it at every possible trolling moment in DF!
I don't know how authentic these moves are...looks kinda fishy. And yes it looks like both PLD/Warrior skills. But one thing is missing.. SE mentioned Dark knight will use mp to generate a dark shroud/ dark aura and the goal is to maintain that using Mp. this leak does not seem to mention that.
It's most likely an early build of the job.

Sounded really horrible anyway. Why would you pick the job that shares damage with other party members when you could pick the two that... don't?
Feels like someone C/P'd the WAR/PLD mainstays and renamed them to be dark and edgy, in all honesty. They already said 'abilities that reduce or take group member's hp do not sound feasible' in an earlier interview.

I got rather upset, but I'll admit it had a side effect: it's getting me more motivated to prep for Heavensward.
The person who created the troll moveset and people who believed it are not paying attention to the basic concept of Dark Knight.
It is an MP-based tank which must maintain a buffing aura of darkness for both protection and dealing damage.
So, where is that attack used to power up your sword? These looks.. way too much like Warrior moves.
