Once again, please revert Dancer's Tillana

Awfully disappointed by the 7.1 patch notes. So many job changes, including some to Dancer, and yet Tillana is still in its horrible, horrible state from 7.0.

Please, PLEASE change the +50 Esprit that Tillana gives. It makes burst awful to play through when you gain too much Esprit that you consistently overcap. Esprit is a randomly generated resource. I cannot predict when I'll have 50 gauge and when I'll have less to know when I should use Tillana.
In 7.0, multiple other job actions that gave 50 gauge were turned into an effect instead, that grants a free use of the gauge action. WHY was Tillana given 50 Esprit instead in the same patch? Please just give us a Saber Dance Ready instead. And that would turn into Dance of the Dawn Ready if you have Technical Finish and are lv100. Nobody needs +50 Esprit. Please.

Remember that it got changed from +0 energy to +50 energy.

We didn't lose anything. Even if you overcap, you miss out on absolutely nothing to before that change. Do not fret about overcapping so much, is what I'm saying! :) It's just to positively, absolutely, unequivocally make sure you can use it even when solo.

But... you can already use it when solo. Dancer's basic combo generates Esprit on its own.

Besides, simply changing to a free use of Saber Dance/Dance of the Dawn would not impair that either. Tillana does not need to be +50 Esprit and it never needed to be.

Yeah that's what I thought, someone on reddit said Dancer has too many buffs already or something? And I mean, they consistently made everyone else get a self-buff that eliminates the resource-need, hence it's so weird they didn't do that for Dancer.

They didn't do it for all jobs. There is some melees like SAM that do still require a gauge amount that gets provided by a 2min button. Probably a feeble failure of an attempt of them trying to keep a semblance of job variety or something.

Incompetency and lack of brain activity. Devs are (or their non existent QA) paid to check their work before they seal and ship it. Sadly this time it all went into checking if speak with wuk lamat phrase correctly appears on screen 140 times in msq.
