Let me drink blood items in game!!!

Seriosely let us have an option to enjoy the taste of blood items that are just used for crafting, are at very least throw in a crafting recipe in cook of blood pancakes


"Blodplättar (in Swedish; blodpannekaker in Norwegian, veriohukainen, verilätty or verilettu in Finnish; verikäkk in Estonian), or blood pancakes in English are a dish served in Finland, Estonia, Sweden and Norway made of whipped blood (typically reindeer blood), water or pilsner, flour and eggs."

I dunno why this reminded me you can eat organic polymer and die in Ark Survival Evolved, but it did.

You can RP that quite easily already. /em drinks bottle of <link>Dragon's Blood.

There's a few Halloween outfits too, on the store, in the game, you can make something custom with a few different glam pieces if you like.

Let's say they would allow you to Use Voidsent Blood, Dragon's Blood etc. What would happen? Should it apply a debuff? Healing? Provide a buff? Do nothing? Blood might heal a vampire but it would make normal people sick so, how would SE differentiate which WoL identifies as a mythological creature and which doesn't?

You're better off just making up your own backstory for your WoL and RP'ing it. That's what the /em command is for.

wol is just a title that is irrelevent now the bitch is dead at last in ew, beside we were called wod as well so it fine, and it should be a food buff... so we can drop the wol bullshit and just be adventures doing a job which means more dark and vampiric stuff

WoL is your character, that's the only reason I said your WoL, because that's who we are in the game. The fact we're done saving the world and just back to adventuring is positive yup. But that doesn't change the fact that as far as FFXIV world and story goes, you're not a vampire.

If this was an MMO based on Anne Rice book, I'd agree with you. But our characters aren't vampires, drinking blood would probably hurt us, not make us stronger, so I don't see how it could be a food buff.

Outside the MSQ and Side Content, you can RP your character anyway you like, and use /em to act like you're drinking blood instead of eating food items. But in terms of gameplay and FFXIV official lore, it makes no sense for blood vials to buff you.

beside Vincent valentine kinda goes against that and our characters could be vampires and stuff


beside there are blood pancakes which are a real food

I don't know who Vincent Valentine is, I don't play other FF games, only FFXIV, so I don't have a frame of reference there.

Also, I didn't say vampires don't exist in FFXIV, Hesperos is clearly based on vampiric tropes.

But our characters aren't vampires, there's no reason for us to be drinking blood. Outside the MSQ and whatever side content stories SE wants to have our characters do, you have all the tools to RP as a vampire.

You can make up any story you like, you're a failed Ascian experiment, or an Allagan one, or some kind of Voidsent curse, it doesn't matter. Be a vampire, dress in dark vampiric glams, use your /em. There's nothing wrong with that.
