Alliance raids
I wasn't really sure where to post this thread but I would really like to see alliance raids require more then 1 tank for 99% of the run. Triple target tank busters are stupid and more of a reminder "oh yeah there's 3 of us." The second boss in PB is a good example of what should become standard. I dont see the point of having alliance A B and C when 1 tank is required for the entire run and you have 2 blue dps who may as well be actual dps.

I would love to see the alliances split up like in Dalriada and actually fight three different bosses. Not just split up for trash like in Labyrinth or the split up in Rabanastre which did nothing

A bunch of fights used to require multiple tanks, but then gear creep happened, and now damage and healing are so high that those mechanics became irrelevant.

I like how the Nier raids keep splitting the alliances into 3 full parties. Gear creep isn't gonna invalidate that, and I hope to see more creative ways to make all three tanks relevant.

Just look at LotA: Back in the days there was actually crowd control by the tanks needed with the skeletons at the bone dragon. Then there was the split at Atomos. At Thanatos, there were adds and the tanks needed to rotate based on their buff. Then three Vassagos for three tanks. At Behemoth usually at least a second tank was needed to control those berserkers. 3 Tanks were also needed at Cerberus in WoL. And so on, and so on.
Of course, today most of these things doesn't even matter anymore.

Remember when Glasya Labolas in Syrcus Tower actually had mechanics other than AoE markers?
Pepperridge Farm remembers.
