SE, will there be measures against NA Fanfest merch line Savage?

*points at title* We saw the solutions that were implemented at other fanfests and haven't heard anything about pre-ordering merch or anything to help avoid the problem that happened last fanfest for merch. I really don't want to see people lining up for merch again during the keynote.

Standing in line for the first half of the first day for a 2 day festival was not very fun :(

Rumors say we're not at the Paris this time again because the event was threatened by the Fire Marshal 2 times and the following merchline ticket camping clogged walkways. I'd believe it, 2016 FF was a hot mess.

EU's merch preorder seemed so perfect, I really hope they implement something like that this time around.

yeah they release new merch at the time of these fan fests and every person there is a huge fan so basically everyone wants to buy the new stuff. anything they can do to mitigate the queue is an important consideration to make.

Please please please please please implement EU 2017 FanFest Merchandise protocols.

Bump! We need awareness on one of the endgames!

then they don't even bring enough of the new merch and it's sold out by the time you reach the front of the line.

Now with the announcement of Eorzea Encyclopedia Vol.2 We reaaaaallly need an answer on how merch is going to be handled in Fanfest.

IMO: Best and only answer: EU 2017 FanFest protocols.
I -really- want to enjoy my time at FanFest but I -will- get that book if it means I need to be in line for it a whole day. And I really don't want to do it but I will. I am fairly sure I'm not the only one.

My thoughts exact, I really want to enjoy my time in Fanfest and I waited in line for the first book and if they follow through with the same crappy system, I'll be waiting in line for this one too. I really hope there's a solution to this.
