Upcoming World Transfer

On of the conditions for the world transfer service is rather ponderous.

Are the Inns considered an ''instanced'' area? To me, they are what i would call instanced areas but i would like clarification so i know where to place my transfer character so as to avoid any problems.

If there is a chance of the inn being instanced, why would you log out there? Just log out in Revenant's Toll like everyone else.

Why would i log out at Revenants Toll?

If it is true that an Inn is an instanced area, i will simply click on the door to exit and voila... non-instanced zone.

Hello SE (this post does not answer your question but is related to world transfer, hence I post here),

I find totally unfair the fact that you make people pay for their first world transfer while you struggled hard to resolve server problems at first. Moreover people may be migrated to another server as you see fit, THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
Review your policy otherwise you may just end up with FF14 v1 low results.
I really wished players mattered more in your eyes, but apparently your company feels like doing things like Blizzard (and you might just end up losing both players and worldwide event access, cf. MLG).

Yours faithfully (but a bit irritated by your new policy).

I would think instanced area means dungeons and those quest fight areas.
But since you bring this question out, I'll just play safe and log out somewhere else when I do the transfer.

Yeah this is what i will be doing. I have no idea what the repercussions are for a failure to transfer in this game. It could initiate a 30 day cooldown on transfers, preventing even a PAID transfer, if the procedure fails. I just dont know how this world transfer will work, so i will play it safe and follow every single bullet point to the letter.

The Inn is not an instanced area.

It's a box/room located under the map.

Except it checks every box under the definition of instanced area.

So uhhh, go to any other sanctuary before you log out for the transfer?
