This is not a wholesale market!
I just realize this recently that current market system won't allow people to buy singles, instead need to buy them as packages/sets only?
Both XI & XIV 1.0 allows people to put their wares in market in both ways. If it less than a set (dozen in XI or 99 in XIV 1.0), other player can purchase to amount of quantity they wanted.
But why wholesale? As I understand, wholesale is how supplier sell their stuff to distributors, not customers. And this game market trying to make distributors = customers?
I have read some of post in Jinko's thread:

... which includes dev response as follows:

Unfortunately, I find this idea rather ridiculous since I find the whole idea are, again, promoting wholesale marketing, something a mere customer have harder time to grasp or even research. Does majority of people like buying stacks of stuff while he/she only need like even little quantity from it?
And again, from what I read on dev response, it seems like they want to punish people who lack / have very little understanding of WHOLESALE market? Not regular market, but WHOLESALE!
Does anybody thinks this is a bad idea? Because I do!
This needs to be fixed pronto! :(
