AGGGH!! Why!? Why did you put the macro pallette delay back!?

If anyone had noticed, the Macro Pallette for PC users (or PS2/XBox players I think) could be brought up faster when holding down CTRL or ALT. This came straight after the May Update. Whether this was intentional or not, it was an actual blessing.

After the April 18th patch, however, it's as sluggish as before the fix! Why?! Why did you, Square-Enix, put back the delay when bringing up the macro pallette?! Was it because of the issue of hiding the macro palette being difficult when playing using a game pad? With the keyboard it took me just no time at all to bring up the macro pallette, the gameplay was just so smooth and responsive.

I'm going to go back to my corner now...

It's probably got something to do with reports like this: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...ros-Firing-off and this: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...ed-adjustments. Also numerous people complained about the same issue on other forums. My guess is it was related to the gamepad issue somehow, but why it didn't affect all PC/keyboard users I have no idea.

I think it's just a quick fix until they go over why it caused so many bugs for people.

It caused a bug when you used controllers when you hit the L and R triggers you couldn't make the macro pallets go away upon letting go of the triggers.
