    Delay in Macros Firing off

    Platform:
    PC - Windows 7

    ISP:
Name of ISP you use to connect to the Internet.

    Type of Internet Connection:
Not sure; connected via wireless router, believe it's DSL though.

    Internet Connection Speed:
    13.04 mb/s I think.

    Date & Time:
    About 9:30 PM EST

    Frequency:
Always; have not done extensive testing yet but it's happened multiple times over and over in various areas, such as Dynamis-Jeuno, Qufim Island during Kaggen, and even just in Northern San d'Oria.

    Character Name:
    Kensagaku

    Race:
    Hume M

    World:
    Valefor

    Main Job:
    Scholar

    Support Job:
    Red Mage

    Area and Coordinates:
    Um... Qufim, about (G-6)ish?

    Party or Solo:
    Alliance with 18 members.

    NPC Name:
    None.

    Monster Name:
    Kaggen.

    Steps:
During a Voidwatch run against Kaggen we fought as normal, with front-line jobs fighting Kaggen and trying to trigger weaknesses. During this time, damage was dealt to said party members, and I went to cure them immediately. Normally this is done by pressing my cure macro at Alt+2, which is [/ma "Cure IV" <stal>] without the brackets so that I can move between the alliance members even when they are blinking in order to heal where I'm needed. However, upon pressing it the blue arrow that is supposed to appear at the party/alliance list didn't appear, and I had to press it several times before it would finally appear. This in turn caused trouble as it significantly delayed my healing of the party, and while we didn't suffer any losses, it was a difficult situation.

I tested this out a bit later, and while I didn't do extensive testing, I suffered similar issues on my Red Mage later on when I went to Dynamis - Jeuno. I found issues with my cure macro not firing (same setup, /ma "Cure IV" <stal>) as well as my similar macro for Haste (/ma "Haste" <stpt>). It's so far only seemed to be a problem with the <stal> and <stpt> macros, but I haven't tested extensively, as I've said.

I would like to note that this doesn't seem to be a case of lag on my part as everything was moving smoothly and I was having no connection issues, even during the group tearing into Kaggen with a lot of animation effects. I'm just not sure of what the problem is period.
