Mictlantecuhtli Drain bug

This is the 2nd time this bug/glitch has happen to me. I was helping a friend get his cuffs i pulled Mictlantecuhtli with full hp and 3 shadows it casted Drain on me it somehow went trew my shadows and it said that i took 0 points of damage,and i died, then the other time this has happen to me was when i was helping my friend again with cuffs was in middle of fight he casted drain on me i didnt have any shadows up on the time but i did have full hp which was around 2,220HP i got hit with Drain for 592dmg and it one shoted me again, think there a glitch/bug with drain sometimes that it gives instance death.

Steps:
1.I engaged him and he casted drain, Went past shadows hit me for 0 Hp and i was dead. friend raised me and then i healed up and re pulled him same way no drain this time and we killed him with no problem.
2. Helping friend we pulled him and was fighting him he was about 60% HP left and he casted drain on me i had full hp around 2,220Hp and he hit for around 592 dmg to me and i just died after the spell hit me. had friend cast raises on me i got up.
3. i re-engaged him weekend and i killed him just fine after that.
