Dev Fujito's post about Xbox 360's trouble on 6th October

I couldn't find any translation of this post on English Forum for over 1 weeks, though I found it is very important.
(If these is some official translation already exists, plase ignore mine.)

初投稿でこんな内容ですが・・・みなさんこんにちは。

Xbox360でフリーズが発生する症状についての現状報告と調査協力のお願いです。

長年にわたって発生し続けているのと同時に、同期間、再現方法を模索している案件なのですが、開発チーム・QAチームによる検証においては残念ながら一度も現象を確認するに至っていません。
（検証を行う際には、ヴォイドウォッチのみならず、ビシージやウォークオブエコーズなど様々なシチュエーションでの皆さんからお寄せいただいた情報、そしてお寄せいただいた情報から推測できるケースなどもあわせて繰り返し実施しているにも関わらずです。）

上記のような状況ではありますが、一定量のご報告を継続してお寄せ頂いていることからも、何かしらの要因がある可能性は高く、なんとか症状を再現させるべく検証自体は現在も継続して行っています。


一度でも再現が確認できれば、それを手がかりにして掘り下げた検証を行うことや、より精度の高い検証が可能になりますので、新たにご報告を頂く際に以下の詳細情報も可能な限り記載していただけると助かります。

• Xbox360のモデル情報
• ファイナルファンタジーXIにログイン後、どの程度時間が経過していたか
• フリーズが発生する直前の挙動として普段と異なる症状が発生していたか否かと発生していた場合の症状

不具合発生時の情報があればあるほど、こちらの再現精度も上がりますのでぜひご協力をお願いいたします。


またヴォイドウォッチ終盤でフリーズした結果、倒したことにならなかった場合については、極力善処の方向で動きます。
ただしタイミング的に勝ったかどうかが定かでない場合も多く、そういったケースについては事前に消費したライズアイテムやトリガーアイテムをフラグ的に覚えるという現在の仕様のままになることをご容赦ください。

Sorry that my first post might be a disappointed matter.

This is the status report about the trouble of Xbox 360's freezing, and request of your cooperation for further investigation.

I'm regret to say that we've never found this trouble in our environment of verification, though this trouble is reported for a long time and we are seeking for the way of reproducing this trouble from the first time the trouble reported.
(When we practice verification, we tested repeatedly under various kinds of situations not only Void Watch but also Besieged, WoE and other cases you reported, but we couldn't find anything yet.)

Though, we recognize that there seems to be some cause of trouble in our side, because we continuously receive your trouble reports: so we are still verifying the trouble and to try to reproduce the trouble.

When we can reproduce this trouble even one time, we can investigate it more particularly by using the result as a clue, and it will lead to a solution of this trouble.
So when you report this trouble newly, could you please add following detailed information?

• The model of Xbox 360
• How long does your login time lapse?
• Is there any strange symptom just before freeze; and if you have strange symptom, please describe it particularly?

In addition, when your Xbox freeze in the final phase of Void Watch battle and you cannot get the flag of win, we deal with the matter in an appropriate manner as much as we can.
However, depending on timing, it is difficult to be judged whether you win or not, in this case only your rise items and a void stone remain, not treated as you win.

I'm really sorry that we cannot solve this trouble now, and I appreciate your understanding. Thank you.
