A few of us in our shell went to take down the ol' Peiste Boss in Konschtat for a shell mate of ours and I decided to try out a petrification screen on him just for fun. Honestly I didn't know what to expect or if the screen would work against him.

Kukulkan fires the Calcifying Mist and I proceeded to use the Petrify Screen.

When the count down finished, I didn't get petrified while under the effect of the screen. I thought "Hey! It really works!"

However, the petrification count down icon continued to persist actively on my status icons. I assumed the status would simply disappear.

Another thing that happened while in this state was that all spell recast timers on my ninja went extremely high as if I was under a weak status when clearly I was not. I can't recall now if I was swinging slowly either... I was more shocked at seeing every ichi and ni spell I casted having 1min:40s to 2mins on recast despite being under the effect of haste.

The funny part about all of this was that I was immediately petrified after the screen wore off two minutes later. Petrification count down icon did turn into the actual petrify status at that point. I got stona'd afterwards and everything was back to normal.

Thought maybe this was a one time glitch. Got another petrify screen for another pop next day later and it happened again. So the problem can be reproduced!

    Was this intentional?
