Moonshade Earring augment change

When I finished WotG, I was still a dedicated SMN, so naturally I went for MP +25 and Refresh +1 augments. In the recent weeks though, I've taken DNC to 90 and really enjoy the job where I'm on it nearly as much as SMN daily and obtained Hvergelmir, so I was thinking it was time to toss it and go obtain another to be used across jobs instead of being used primarily on one, idle piece on others, and zero merit towards DNC.

I could always replace the earring on SMN with caller's earring (been ignoring it since I had moonshade + gifted earring) and currently the only earrings I use on DNC that I have is Ethereal and Brutal earring.

The only appeal is to change refresh to regain. The first group of augments are largely useless. Is it worth changing though or should I search for another earring. I'm seeing the earring from Divine Might more frequently which seems to be the new popular choice, but I'd like thoughts on it.

A Soupuponme and a Brutal Earring would give you more damage during your TP phase than a Regain earring.

As for which combination results in the most TP or gets you to 100 TP the most quickly, I can't be much help. There are tons of factors even including stuff unique to Dancer such as usage of Saber Dance, so I won't even won't hazard a guess.

A Soupuponme and a Brutal Earring would give you more damage during your TP phase than a Regain earring.

This is pretty much what I'd be saying right now.

Unless you are using a multihitter that hits a lot more often then 2-3 times, a Brutal Earring is going to greatly help your TP phase, especially with stuff like the Twilight Belt and Atheling Mantle to bring your double attack into the double digits.

The Suppa earring gives 5% DW reduction, which doesn't really help your TP directly, but it does improve how often you hit, which increases the damage you are doing, but more importantly, gives you more chances to activate a multihit effect like Double Attack - which will give you more TP.

Basically, unless you plan on sitting in the back with a weapon drawn, the Regain effect is kinda crappy. That said, I believe you could craft it into something situationally useful. For example, if you plan on doing Aeolian Edge farming with Dancer, giving the earring Magic Attack Bonus and TP bonus might be helpful, but I'm not as much an expert on the effects of 25% TP bonus as I would like, so I'm not sure.

it would be nice if you could actually see the moonshade earring when you wear it. it's kind of sentimental... and super cute

I personally have no regrets on getting the regain effect on it.
While it is not overly useful, and there are surely better alternatives what comes to general use, there are occasions where I am unable to hit the target for a reason or another yet still keep getting TP and that has helped me quite often in several ways. This obviously is more useful on a job such as a Samurai when I am not hitting as often as on a Ninja for example. Sometimes I might end up with say, 99 TP for whatever reason and the earring pushes it to 100 just after the last hit.

The rewards from Wings of The Goddess in general are a bit too weak; the regain could probably be a bit more potent without breaking anything and so on... but either way, it really depends of your style in general I guess when it comes to "is it worth the effort."

Moonshade Earring is a lv.90 earring with lv.75 augments, given as a reward for completing a lv.75 expansion, all because the maximum level was 90 at the time. It doesn't even have pet augments.

I myself would lean more toward saying, moonshade should do something worth the space it takes up.
