Greater Amphiptere in Xarcabard (S) has become docile.

While trying to learn the Blue Mage spell Reaving Wind, a friend an I attempted to gain the attention of the Amphiptere that circles in the eastern most section (east of OP). For nearly an hour we ran around the giant creature jumping up and down and waving our arms but to no avail the beast would not take the bait. One of us even dropped his HP into yellow to have him aggro HP but he still had no desire to kill. We believe this to be a bug as the other Amphipteres in the area seem to aggro without hesitation. Just wondering if you could pull him out of his depression and get him back to his bloodthirsty self again.

Thank you for your assistance with writing a report for us, it is appreciated! Fortunately, we are aware of this occurring and it is already being reviewed. In the meantime, go ahead and contact an in-game GM using the /helpdesk feature with a comment explaining that the Amphitere is not aggressive. We may be able to take some immediate actions to assist you!

Since there is no guarantee that an official response will be posted on this thread, I suggest keeping an eye on the www.Playonline.com website and http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/forums/76-Updates for any news on this matter.
