I used to love doing campaign and since its inception I always wanted a sort of “Campaign Kidz Zone” area to work on my lower level jobs.
Little bored this evening. Just the overall idea is what I’m interested in. How this could be implemented … well I have no idea really, I am a DRK after all

I Like the idea in theory, But in practice, I think imposing level caps to where a level 20-30 Adventurer could slay a Campaign Boss would... "Dampen"? The seriousness that the Crystal war Imposed.

If any level 20-30 Adventurer could come and kill these massive invading armies, it just seems like the Crystal War wasn't all that threatening to Vana'Diel. I Can't really think of the right word? "Cheapens" the threat. IDK :|

But, If SE Can look past the Story-line Aspect of what this would do, I'm not Entirely Against it. But I know someone who does Campaign a lot would be against it, because in practice all it would do is severely limit an uncapped players ability to find a campaign battle that wouldn't massively gimp them. Most current Campaign patrons are generally people solo'ing to keep up their Medals or out of boredom.

So, After more thought, I think this might do slightly more harm than good in the long run, and wouldn't make entirely too much sense from a story-line perspective, where these Beastmen hoards were suppose to be giving the Kingdoms a run for their money.

so to reiterate, Its a good Idea in Theory :|, I just don't think in practice it would pan out

I don't know about the level sync thing, but something I would surely appreciate in campaign battle is auto-reraise, possibly one that doesn't wear off upon end of battle (unless you are alive). Because too many times I ended up having to HP because I died in the middle of CB and NPCs warped away leaving me there with no one avaiable to raise me.

Ok.. so you get a team of level 60+ using all their uber abilities to take down this hard core beastmen, just to look over the hill to see some level 20's do the same... it will make Campaign Battle look a bit... meh

I don't mind the "feild manuals" to appear in the past, as I know there are some enemies that level 20+'s can go for, and it be nice for those that would rather build up their AN then the CP.. just the Campaign Battle, is the one place where I can feel I can be a "battle mage" (Red Mage / Ninja) without feeling like a fancy dressed whm.

I am all up for seeing a level 20+ trying out campaign battle.. I have seen a level 30 sch do it (a friend of mine), they said, the exp they got was alright, but a great way to kill time with the party flag up.

maybe look at it like the level 10-30 are grunts, fighting beastmen grunts in some zones. kinda like low level military units, and the 60's+ are like the navy seal team zones. thx for the reply

WoG ( i may be missing some small letters) has areas that are higher level then the normal present area.

the smallest mobs I know of is some mobs can be exp pt off of as 35, the bestman can check as EP+ in any past zone.

I would not like to be level cap due to space it is hard to fins gear. the level cap stat change is bad.

I would like to do campain battle more then just northland, I do not like northland because there is so much outside aggro.

You also have to change a lot of mob level.

I would like making some areas have higher level mobs so they are more enjoyed at higher levels.

Tavnazian Safehold past areas anyone? please no more ps2 ><

So what would you guys think of being able to have your Adventuring Fellows fight along side you in Campaign Battles? Would help if the current battle isn't mage friendly to players and you are stuck with no form of heals etc.. Basically upon recieving Allied Tags effect, your Adventuring Fellow appears. Once the battle ends, your Adventuring Fellow will Warp. I do like the idea of Auto-Reraise too for Campaign Battle. It sucks that players need to purchase expensive RR items if they really like/appreciate Campaign Battle so much as their own interest of entertainment.

Maybe adjust the Allied Nations healer NPCs to have an Accession effect when they cast Protect and Shell as the Beastmen healers do. Would also like to be able to skill up in Campaign if possible, though I am sure the monsters aren't high enough anymore anyways to attain skillups, just a thought.

Also would be a fair adjustment to put a limit to how many Freelances can be recruited to each nation to balance the strength of the Allied Nations that have those common battles where they are outmatched.

If anyone has any thoughts about these suggestions, feel free to discuss.

If they allowed skillups in campaign then I'd think campaign would be utilized more. They could also change how you acquire exp in campaign to something similar to Bastion Battles.

they should just drop the campaign level to 60ish so we can level 50-75 easier, sure you will have the random 90+ coming in and wiping the area clean but you have that now so might as well let people utilize it before they go to abyssea
