I agree with more abyssea content, I really don't want to camp 24 and week long spawn HNMs, if they add non-abyssea I do not want to be like like the crap CoP was, all that hard work and length just from a ring?
Congratulations, you're the first person to spot that. Just 'subtle' comic relief. Seeing who's actually READING instead of just posting. You win the prize! An extra 500 points if you can figure out where I got that from.

What if there were new Abyssea zones added that AREN'T modeled after current zones. I think that would give something very new to the playerbase that enjoy Abyssea, but also enjoy new explorative content.
I think we should invert the game so the 9 abyssea are like normal zones and the other zones are like abyssea. That way we will do all that old content, like people complain about, and still have fun doing them. And for the challenge people they can do old abyssea content without atmas and brews.
Perfect solution, and it also reflects the ratio of zones to people who want the content. I.e. only 9 zones for the 20 people on the server who want a challenge.
I wouldn't complain terribly about new abyssea content, but I wouldn't complain at all if there wasn't any. I do like being a god with atma, but all the repetition and the time limits gets to me. Being able to solo or low man almost everything worthwhile is nice and all, but where's the challenge? I'm not saying let's go back to waiting a week for a HNM to pop so I can spend three years waiting in line for one piece of gear. There's got to be something in the middle instead of the two extremes, something that's challenging with a big group, requiring strategy and skill, but has a better droprate than .0009% without the need to endlessly camp and fight other groups over spawns. As it is now, any idiot can build the best weapons and armor in the game over a weekend or two with two or three of his friends. Sure, it may be fun, but you don't really feel like you've accomplished anything great when you're done with it. There was no strategy or skill involved, just the exploitation of godlike atma that weren't very difficult to get in the first place. I like the idea of abyssea, it just made things too easy, and the quality of players has decreased rapidly because of it.

God no! If I never see another player going with 3 Atma, Cruor buffs and a brew I'll be a happy man. I'd like the 90-99 content to actually be challenging thank you very much. Abyssea has made this game almost the equivalent of Strawberry Shortcake vs. My Little Pony, give us something to actually work at.
I'd love to see more abyssea zones open!
I think SE really added a lot of new life to the game with the abyssea expansions. Even though things done in Abyssea could be done before Abyssea was released, many people were too afraid to give them a try. Now that the playerbase has experienced new ways of thinking about XP, their jobs, monsters, and fighting strategies, I think our mentalities towards the game have changed.
Abyssea is really cool. I enjoy the music, the familiar zones with exciting new battles, and I enjoy the open atmosphere. Having more Abyssea to explore would be exciting!
I would like some Abyssea Notorious Monsters to slip through our dimension (regular zones), Maybe the ones that aren't being hunted.

How about NO MORE Abyssea zones & how about opening up the far west, far east (Tenzen's homeland), far North & the Mithran homelands far south? forget about abyssea, I rather see the rest of Vana'Diel. some abyssean counterparts *could be seen in some of those areas like smaller virsion of those pink & purple mandies.
New undead mobs called "The Turned" would be zombie mithra warriors (who where thought to have died in the crystal war but came back...for revenge) who would use their jobs ablities along with their own (A Turned thief can & would sneak attack agro you, A Turned Ranger would Shadowbind or in the event of a KO use scavenge & steal a small amount of your gil like 5-100 or if you have the mats then arrow heads or bolt heads, not entire stacks though )
