Abyssea was made to be a big fun god mode (something that's honestly bad to do in an MMO..no matter how fun it is), if they removed Abyssea today there would be literally nothign at all to do..thats how much damage has been done to the game. Once everyone runs through abyssea that will be it, it's like killing a child with cake and candy. To the OP, did SE stop caring before or after Abyssea magically made FFXI awesome again?
Sure it's fun but you can see the ideas behind it, it was designed to let players be super human for that last push out of the game and onto FFXIV (notice they aren't doing Abyssea style content for FFXIV?..cause it will damage the game). Abyssea is no indication of what they plan to do with FFXI, what they do from now on is the real indication cause Abyssea is now over and stuff is getting boring fast.
If you don't think god mode makes games boring fast go try cheat on the newest FPS xbox game, see how quick you lose intrest when nothing can damage you.
If they really do want to carry on with FFXI in this fun mode they need to add new Aby style content regular, at least 3 of them per year...to keep people playing.

FFxi is still making SE money, it would not be financially viable to shut it down, enough with the omg this game is gonna die posts already, just because Yoshi-p gives us letters (which hes been doing since he was promoted to director of ffxiv) and the ffxi director dont doesnt mean they dont give a damn about us
one who giggles after a client explains their problems. An unprofessional psychologist?
edit: oh wait, that's a psyCHIAtrist, not a psyCHOLogist.

"Do you sell the Internet?"
Yeah, I call BS on that. >_>
Between the poor grammar and spelling (unless he got his degree in some shady online university...) that suggests he couldn't even graduate middle school, let alone college and beyond, and the fact that his arguments are the online equivalent of a child throwing a tantrum (i.e. "You don't agree with me, well you suck" or "Why don't you all see things MY way because clearly I'm right!"), there is no way that particular line is true.
That being said, Krystal, please read through the more coherent responses on this thread. Greatguardian gave a simple and thought-out reply, as did CrystalWeapon on the first page. Those should be sufficient. The rest... well, you dug your own grave on them. I've seen a number of your posts, and all you've done is create a reputation of childishness and immaturity that causes no one to take you seriously. I know I don't. Maybe that doesn't matter to you, but in the end that reputation is what's going to determine how easily your threads get derailed, how seriously people (including the development team you're hoping for some recognition from) take you, etc...
In the end, this is a community. A community, as a whole, rises up to cut out the unwanted elements. You can say that the trolls are the unwanted elements, but in the end, you're the unwanted element. Notice how little support you have in your favor, and then look at the community arrayed against you.
Also, I've been trying to avoid posting lest I get caught up in all of this idiocy, but this thread was one threads too many. Thanks. x_x
Hey wat abowt me my postes is intreliggible iznt it?
