Why not create a Kickstarter to crowd fund things such as expansions?

So don't back it, why is your personal opinion about what kickstarter should be an issue.

I mean, it's not going to happen, so there isn't anything for me to not back.

I only back independent projects where the money is actually needed to bring the project to completion.
SE doesn't need the money, I've already given them probably like $2000 in sub fees there are people with several characters or multiple accounts who have given them even more, they have plenty of other successful projects bringing in tons of money. They should just do it, without a kickstarter.

I know you guys really really really want SE to reinvest into the game, but a Kickstarter they aren't interested in dealing with. Is not going to get you any results.
