I wonder where where I said that ; I do remember saying "inbefore 6 people" answering to someone opposing the cure spam argument to my stun lock argument. This mob is like the easiest NM of all.


Btw, congratulations for having a weapon that was released in september, you are awesome. Apparently you are the one having trouble killing NMs in abyssea, please tell us which it is ?

nvm ; seeing as you are on monk on FFXIAH my bet is you seek verethragna. Dragua is the fastest NM to farm on the path.

Oh you're just the cutest bundle of joy. Dragua is easy, I'm just lazy. If you really want to advocate using Earth resist atmas for Dragua, be my guest. I can't imagine even these boards are frequented by people dumb enough to buy that. If they are, serves them right for listening to Pchan.

Lol, I dont buy the lazy argument from someone that makes it a point imposing his point if view in every thread and that cares enough to post his achievements is his sig. I think its just that. Semi attempt to sound elitist when the discussion revolves around level 85 NMs and when it comes to level 95 ones, you are lazy. To answer the previous poster, what is wrong with macroing meva gear when having the wyrm cast on you ? Are you one of those guys that explained us for 5 pages that taking 50% of the damage is better that taking 20% ?

My sig is a joke . I am lazy, in a nutshell. I've only bothered to work on my 90 Vereth for about 90 minutes on one of my 3 day weekends a while back. Mostly it's the fact that I've been helping other friends finish their Almaces and Masamunes. I'm not one for excuses though, so I'll readily admit I've been lazy about it. I'd rather be lazy than, well, be Pchan

I think Tamoa was wondering where the hell you were going to get Dark resist gear, or how you would carry MEva sets for all 5 of those elements without gimping up your normal gear. This is especially true if you bring Resist atmas into the picture, seeing as you would have to pick 1 or 2 elements at most. I doubt her or anyone else was expecting a serious response from you though. Pretty much the entire FFXI endgame community has learned better.

Because you can have 4 barspells/8 carols up at once (in the case of Azdaja, and there's no light/dark based barspell).

So Pchan,
basically what youre saying is that my MDT set with bar spells reduces damage to
67%*0.5 = 33.5%?

OR
I can carry around 4 pieces of gear for each element to resist magic down to taking 14%?
lets see, 6 elements, 4 pieces of gear, 20 EQ slots? well I guess we subtract earrings for half of it, since theres 2 elements on each earring, so 16 spots? 14 spots?

THEN since theres no light/dark bar spells you would have to carry around your MDT set anyway for those? or another 10 pieces of gear to have enough to resist them?

This is assuming of course your math is anywhere near correct. I think I'll just stick with my 4 pieces of gear I require beyond my normal DR gear to cap MDR, instead of 4 for each element+whatever for light/dark, only taking 33.5% of the damage is good enough for me, I dual box my own whm after all, and 15% isn't really all that much.

Still waiting on your answer to this.
