Raise the minimum allowable job level in Abyssea from 30 to 70+

Sure we can do 5k and more with FoV and exp incerase. But we do not want to solo much in this game, only with solo jobs like BST. This game is a grinder game for ppl who like partyes. Becouse it is a RPG it has to level slow to enjoy every level buy gear by gear, be attracted by the gear outfits and the places you meet.
Most newcomers level 90 never seen Tazvania Safehold.
And its not the way of this game to leech to 90 and do CoP and other things on your own, we all had to level slow, had level caps and needed to get in as a team. We grown together, we played together and we got forged together.
This game has always been a group game and its really sad that ppl leech and use the removed level cap to solo things instead of playing as a team.

Not everyone is lucky enough to find help to complete these missions. Times change. Change with them or get left behind.

Ya I'm capped merits too. No jobs left to lvl. That's why I was hoping for a group 3 or group 4 merits with the mini update. Doubt that will happen before the next lvl cap increase. From now till then basically any exp I get is going down the drain, so sad ; ;.

That's funny because I remember being left behind in CoP by my static because I couldn't play 18hours a day. I wasn't alone. I didn't have an LS for the first 2 years I played because I wasn't 75. When I finally got 75 and a shell people avoided me like the plague when I asked for help for CoP. It wasn't like I just logged on and asked for help. I did several weeks of events with them before I asked. I only finished CoP because I shouted for who needed it. It took me 7days of shouting at different times of the day. On the last day it took me 4hours to get 6people because the majority of people already finished CoP. I came to somehow become a sack in a Sky LS whose members said I sucked the leader's dick for w.legs when I lotted nothing of any value the entire year I was in the LS. I became a sack to an HNM LS whose members called me a slut and I sucked the leaders dick for my relic. It wasn't the events I led. Nor was it my work I put in to leading. No. I was avoided because of it.

I have never felt any form of comradery the 8years I played. It was mostly filled with dealing with a lot of assholes, greedy and selfish people. I can call perhaps two people friends after these 8years. Where is the growing together part? Where is the forging you're talking about?

This isn't a rant. I'm showing you that not everyone's journey in FFXI was so rosy and perfect.

I also remember people crying about the game always requiring groups to accomplish anything. That they wished they could just go out whenever they could to solo what they needed. They got what they wanted.

You can do easily 5k/hour easily with FOV and new exp increase if your lazy. This game has reached End game and that's the majority of the focus. Besides there's nothing wrong with leeching to 90 and going back and soloing ZM COP missions XD. But of course your gonna have someone complain about everything oh well. I'll go enjoy farming my AF3+2 on friday with one or two of my buddies ^^.

That's what I'm saying and I'm not complaining. Exp is very high now in regular parties and I am now on a server where parties are easy to find. I don't need to solo or even duo/trio FOV but I do if I have a short time to play. 5k in FOV an hour is too weak compared to exp in parties now. If you want to exp in parties you still can, on certain servers and they are very easy to put together in a few minutes.

Not when everyone in the ls is capped on merits, except for the 2 days after they get a new 75+

Maybe this game used to be that, but the focus of this game is to reach a high level and then do endgame activities. Otherwise you might as well remove all endgame content if your entire goal is to exp jobs slowly.

As a team, we're helping each other to get fast exp on low level jobs. It's all about teamwork.

No, I'd simply not cap my merits, or not level a new job. Allowing massive xp gain has given me more things to do, since I can equip new jobs from scratch when I'm bored enough.

No, when my exp is capped, I go equip my jobs, clearly something you don't seem to do. Or work on another Empyrean weapon. I'm guessing you were trying to be so secretive about your character is because you have no notable gear. Probably one of those people wearing full aurore, teal, or perle.
