Ideas for new Trust NPCs

I think Lilliset would have a one time only meet up with us in WoE for a CS where we get her trust. Cyphering her would just cheapen everything we went through with her and for her. No other npc did we do so much for just so they could exist.

Domina Shantotto is part of the "A Shantotto Ascension" mission story line.

Seriously. I'd be rather annoyed if my favorite FFXI character got relegated to a mere Cipher. I can't imagine them doing that, though, especially since Lilisette was one of the top three in that character poll a while back. She was even alluded to in the recent Cait Sith avatar quest.

While on the subject of Ciphers, I have to ask: is there some reason we can't just use them like a regular spell scroll? Just don't see why we have to go to an NPC and button mash through all that needless text. Not a big inconvenience or anything, just seems odd to not go with the simpler, pre-existing option.

Ciphers in general feel cheap. I've never liked the system and would rather all NPCs be obtainable via CSs with the NPCs themselves. Getting NPCs like Lion from login campaigns is just... bleh.

I'd like to see either Perih Vashai or Semih LeFinah for Trust. As far as Perih is concerned, you could explain that Trust brings out your best memories of a person, so that in Perih's case she'd be in her WotG outfit and not be Blind. As another example Lillisette would be in her DNC AF and have her DNC abilities because that's what your fondest memories of her are.

But CS gotten trusts go by everything you did with them. So she would still be blind if you already got to that point.

I'm still waiting on Lilisette. I've been hoping for her since I found out what trust was. I could think of many more too, but she's pretty top tier.
