Its a fair complaint, to much random is stupid.

Hey now, I played this game for a decade. I deserve get get everything for free whenever I want it.
An old ls member got 3 mails during blunt time 3 brews in a row with no th at all, I'm about 0/70 with full th and have given up on getting the mail and don't even bother with shin anymore unless someone needs the win.
Its always been like that, took me months to see an askar body drop in old nyzul back in the day. But boy was it a celebration once it finally fell lol. Now there is no celebration, just a disgruntled "finally". The only thing I have ever had luck with is the thf relic hands back when you would maybe see them once every 10 runs. Got em the first time I entered dyna-xarca because it was the one and only time I outlotted the entire alliance in 7 yrs of play haha.
Not only has the rng seem to have broke on new content but also just the fact that you can spam this content instead of being limited to a couple times a week makes it even more annoying. I could understand when maybe 1/500 ppl on the server ever got certain items do to timers and drop rates (and those the more hardcore crowd) but when you see every noob running around in it, it makes the hate of rng and worse still.
I thought I'd never get twilight pieces from Shinryu, and when I finally did I didn't really feel a sense of joy or accomplishment at all. All I felt was a sense of relief that I no longer had to worry about it and a sense of guilt that my getting it meant someone else who needed it didn't.
Low drop rates do NOT create the warm, fuzzy, and happy feelings the devs seem to think they do. They create feelings of misery, disappointment, and mental and emotional fatigue.
I heard if you go on darksday it increases chance of mail dropping. Went 1/2 going on darksday with blue proc and no thf.
it's what you learn after you know it all that counts
l do not have any use for Twilight armor so I think the low drop rates are fine.
Another thing I wondered is if there is any correlation what-so-ever between what the guy in (Mhaura?) says is your lucky element, and the day of the week/weather/moon phase when you try and farm something.
Strange how low drop rates will make you cling to anything to try and get success.
after around 100 fights i finally got the mail for my wifey, its been hard work but worth it in the end but i don't see anything wrong with drop rates, there are a lot of things in this game with low drop rates and if they change the mail they better change others to balance things out, but then again this is SE and balance is the big thing they know nothing of.
