    Considering most people do other things now

    Why not tone down the insanely long respawn times of the old nm's? Things like Charybdis, Khimara, the shade NM's in the Oubliette that drops Ascalon. Things like this could help newer players maybe get a shot at some decent low level stuff and not have to worry/bug other members for money if they can't afford a mediocre piece on ah. Are you really hurting anything by making these timers not as long? (48-72 hours on an nm barely anyone hunts nowadays is just absurd)

    I'm still waiting on them to remove the 3-person entry requirement for all Assault-related activities so I can solo AP on my own time, or finally get my Ashu Talif attachments done for PUP.

    It's not like the zones are hardly getting used at all, so the solo/duo'ing traffic shouldn't hurt it.

    Do what they should have done to begin with. Get rid of EVERY NM and change them to forced pops.

    FYI, unless it's a purely time-based spawn, there is no such thing as a "maximum" respawn time.

    When they say 8-16 hours for Charybdis, it doesn't mean that after 16 hours of killing PHs you're guaranteed to have Charybdis pop. It just means you are really unlucky as hell if you manage to go that long without seeing it. It's still possible though.

    They should change all the old Nm,s to 10 min repop and increase PH based ones to 100%. As for regular mobs everywhere they really need to make instant respawn now a days. Even inside abyssea you can struggle for mobs as they dont repop fast enough. Nothing wrong with the forced trigger method using local mobs for force pop items.

    But remember, some mobs don't have 'local' mobs, such as Khimara where he's in the middle of a clearing with no mobs, how would you force pop him? To be honest you would have make him an exception and and just do a shorter respawn time?

    The best solution would be two-fold:

    Placeholder pop NM's would still be Placeholder popped. When a placeholder dies 0-15 minutes is 0% pop 16-30mins is 33% pop31-45 mins 76% pop 45-60 mins 99% pop 61+ 100%.


    NM that aren't PH popped would take be popped by a universal Rare item for that region.

    1% drop from too weak
    3% Easy prey
    7% Decent Challenge
    10% Even Match
    13% Tough
    17% Very Tough
    25% Incredibly Tough

    They can do w/e they want with the ???. It can port around, it can have a random respawn of 1-10 mins, it can spawn multiples. Just as long as access is fun and simple.

    This is my first non-troll and/or not calling out a schmuck as a schmuck post post I think. Feels weird. Tingly weird
