Because like it was jus said MGSO is PS3 BASED only have 1-2 servers to run it FFXI is PS3/PC/Xbox there are prolly more then 9-10 servers that FF runs on u have no clue what ur talkin bout so please jus shut up n log off

If this was the cause would we not need a server merge but maybe servers added? last count for FFXI was around 227k. MGS was 330k so unless my math is wrong MGS is larger. Hech there are more people playing farmville on facebook then FFXI. If you even did a little research SE needs to have atleast 200k players to break even. So with the numbers the way they are they are not making much money right now, so this could be a huge reason why they are not up & running. Could be an escape goat for them to eliminate the game & try to make a buck elsewhere for now. We do not know, but somehow you do?

I read alot, you will never see me post remarks involving stats without doing my homework. I am not not 19 year old college student. I am a 31 year old husband & father. Own a house, car & have enough money that myself & wife will never have to work another day in our lives.

But wife wants to watch t.v so have fun, time to do something productive for a bit, hope we can continue this later. Heck I may switch servers to continue once the game is back up in, what did you say 2 months????

Dude MGS does not have more then FFXI srsly do u own the game? do u go on there and see how many ppl are on? do u Srsly do you do ANYTHING BESIDES COMPLAIN BOUT something u dont know? really? metal gear solid 4 doesnt have anywhere near the numbers off FFXI.... FFXI servers are much larger and take more power to run then metal gear solids so PUT A SOCK IN IT ALREADY
