New weaponskills needed.

I don't know about you guys but i'm noticing a serious lack on new weapon-skills even though we can increase our skills with swords,axes,ect...would be nice to see some new ws's for the post 75 bracket. sure there are a few..but not nearly enough.

New weaponskills were added when the level cap was raised to 80 (for skill level 300~ish). New weaponskills were also added in the 85 cap update, on the empyrean/WoE magian weapons.

However, I do agree that a new series of Weaponskills should be added based on skillups for the 99 cap update.

since when do we need to own a certain type of weapon to use a a new weaponskill? i mean a special one. not the common ones. now as i said before..correct me if i'm wrong.

Well we did get new WS at 290-300 skill. I'd imagine more are in store for the level 95 increase already. As it stands, each weapon class has received 1 new WS per update. That's pretty darn nice, all things considered. Mythic WS also required equipping certain weapons and performing quests to unlock, as did WSNM weaponskills. The only difference between those and Empyrean WS is that you have to fulltime the Emp-WS weapon to use the WS. But those weapons (WoE and true Emp) are pretty boss for their slots anyways so it's not like that's a huge hindrance to anyone.
