I can't agree with a person paying up for many accounts to make more money to be exploitative. If you condemn that then you have to condemn mule characters as it's "exploiting" the game to extend your limits, and obviously SE does not agree with that by looking at the character selection screen alone. As long as they aren't creating gil from something that shouldn't be happening, it's legit, and if SE ever disagrees with it they'll do what they always do - nerf NPC buy prices.
That's not to say SE could one day go, oh we don't approve of this one person having 12 mules farming cruor so we is gonna ban them. Because we feel like it. But according to the established definition of exploiting, such a player whether legit or RMT wouldn't be doing any wrong unless you want to condemn them for being a capitalist pig. How dare someone want to work hard to be richer than you. How dare they do what you don't. Ban'm & Eff'm. Equality! Everyone on same playing field! Hey how come no one crafts anymore so I can has what I want???? ..... ohhhhhh.
Regular "John" Doe - Not on the Community Team
Yeah its realy a big problem, so its easy to made 100k cruor/hour on a decent Cruor party
So that still 1000 cruor = 47 761 gil (for the alliance)
so its 4 761 000 gil/hour? (for the RMT ally)
so RMT can made like 47m on 10 hours?
HOW DARE SquareEnix DONT NERF THIS SHIT?

For someone to get a bunch of mules together and farm cruor separately, they'd have to register separate Square Enix accounts and pay $12.95 a month for each of them. Not to mention that more than one of them would have to be fighting, and I have a tough enough time 2-boxing, I can't imagine 12-boxing or 18-boxing.
free 1 month trial is not still avaible on ffxi?
And about keep an ally fighting RMT use bot that made all the ally work alone imo (Exept 1 character that is player and all the other characters /assist + heal bot etc)
+ RMT usualy use multi computers and maybe like 3 RMT can hold a full ally without any problems
I hope we are not coming back to a new "2004" gil inflation![]()

This thread has given me great ideas, and probably many others.
Thanks for sharing.
There is more to FFXI than Abyssea.
The free trial is currently for 14 days, level 30 is the cap, it only includes original FFXI areas so you can't even enter Abyssea, and you can't have more than 100k on a trial character.
RMT are hardly interested in this game anyway. There is no money in it for them any more. Don't get your panties in a twist.
Not to mention they can't even trade with other characters.
Full list of restrictions:
Even if not RMT-activity, there's definitely something shady in alliances of Xyz-named characters.Originally Posted by SQUARE ENIX Support Centre
But that's beside the point here really, and only thing we can do about those is report them to the STF-Unit.
As mentioned already, they are well aware of the fact how Cruor can be made into Gil, and they would have probably restricted it already if they wanted to.
That is not to say that they will never do that, still...
It is not against the ToS, as also already mentioned.
As also also already mentioned, there is a difference between legit, and... well, the other kind. ^^;
...or so the legend says.
So, if you make 18 new SE account
18 X 12,95$ = 233$
And if you spend about 10 hours of farming/day
You will get 999.999.999 gil on about 25 days~ (You get 5 days to level up your little army)
233$/999m = 0,23$ a million and 250 hours farming ~
Everyone will become RMT soon...
