    NQ old king pop upgrades... its time to upgrade se....

    ME and friends have spent over 3k kseals in the last week and a half doing ksnm 99's as well the millions and millions we have spent for nq pops trying to get HQ pops we aren't after the bb items had them for ages we been giving them away to anyone we know free and if no one we know wants they fall to the ground so BB items are definitely easier to get....

    We are after abjurations and items dropped from the HQ pops and its absolute horrid upgrade rate... th10 11 almost every nq pop except fafnir which we normally get upto around 9 or so as not to start flailing..

    but we done 25 behemoths = 3hq
    9 turtles - 0 hq
    11 fafs - 1 hq

    for love of the old gods please increase the upgrade rate its not like these are the be all of end all gear these days as it is more for nostalgia....

    guess i could been like all the other mercenaries out there selling it to pay for the pops but i rather help friends and acquaintances out but really how hard is it to upgrade the drops a little already...

    Not exactly feasible 24/7 but def try for TH for a HQ pop during a week that Treasure Hound is active. Since the TH procs are stingy anyways. Also for Fafnir u can try having a bully order on your THFs (if u bring more than one u didnt say but assuming u do) so that u can try for a SA TH proc from Fafnir's front.

    You probably already know these things and if u do my apologies.

    That said i agree the HQ PIs are abysmal to get, thought for sure they'd toss em into VW by now as something amongst the logs one can possibly obtain

    Ever since they changed the King system it sorta feels like we are being punished. Not long ago both fafnir and adamantoise used to sit in their zones unclaimed for hours. I was even recall a person shouting in jeuno for about 50 minutes before someone cared enough to run out and kill it. On top of which BB items are now removed from the NQ HNM when they are poped. It just seems like a punishment for all the years of bots/feuds/rmt over the HNMs, they just simply took them away since players couldn't play nice. Rate does need to be changed since its currently ~1/10 but kings used to pop once in 3-5 days maximum of 10 if i recall, rate of upgrade should match likely hood of an HQ during each days window. I will add this, Those with fortune seek to maintain their fortune and look down on those without fortune. Those without fortune seek to improve their fortune and envy those with fortune.

    TH over 4 doesn't do much anyway, but you should have no issues capping @12. Have at least 2 THFs TA each other and then do SA whenever it's up (btw SE, having to do this at all is completely ******* retarded). Not sure what the problem is SAing fafnir... all you have to do is run around back after he uses a tp move. THFs should not be meleeing whatsoever until TH is capped. Main hand THF knife without an offhand if you want.

    Treasure hound doesn't increase the cap over 12 so it doesn't really do much other than allow you to start @8 base (with full TH gear). It is possible to actually kill behemoth just from SA and TA due to his lack of HP before TH is capped though. You shouldn't have any trouble capping fafnir @12. Same for turtle.

    My contribution: this system is ridiculous and needs to be redone. HQ pops should really be almost 100%. Who the hell cares about these NMs anymore.

    A less than 10% drop rate isn't balanced to a chance after 4 days... Even the smallest group had a chance to claim the NMs... more over, since most of the gear these NMs drop are fairly out dated, look at ridill compared to a 2 to 4 times axe four warrior... The only real worth while drop from kings is D ring, which still doesn't drop. If they upped that drop rate I could rationalize King Behe having such a low drop rate, this is SE's form of balance, it would have been logical if they added the force pop system, for hq triggers, on top of the existing system. Not what they did with destroying this realm of the game.

    no one to date has posted or reported able to get th over 12 that i have read on or heard of so most are assuming the cap is currently 12

    its one of the things that SE again is infamous for and wish they would disclose more information exactly how their "treasure hunter" works... or should say don't work lol

    one person talks about that th increase does not incrementally increase the % of drop rate but the random chance at it dropping increases?? ... i think it was believed that it was thought that each time u went up 1 th it increased chance by 5%

    anyhow i sure as heck hope they fix this they were not a big camped NM anymore after the 75 update and abyssea release as was stated you could goto zone and normally find them standing around.. so an increase in HQ pops would not really hurt much as the abjurations and drops are more sentimental and nostalgic then anything these days
