I don't know if there is already a post for this or not, I know I've seen some brief mention of Magian Trials in the Job discussions. I personally would like to see weapon trials so that all weapon choices for jobs are covered, for example dagger on RDM, polearm for SAM and WAR etc. For those they could just add the jobs to existing trials, excluding the Empyreon weapons.
I also would like to see proper armor trials which would offer a lot of options, I'm just going to focus on main paths here.
Enhanced Defense, All Damage Reduction then break down to Physical/Magical, Haste, Specific Job Skills, Job Ability Enhancement.
This would allow players to not only do more, but try out different things as well. This time though, no seals, or anything like that. I would say gather crafting materials, and have to undertake specific actions related to the augment, such as for enhanced defense or physical damage reduction get items crafted through smithing, goldsmithing, bonecrafting, or leathercraft. Then have to survive x amount of hits for x amount of damage. For skill augments or job ability boosts use the related skills/job ability x amount of times. Its just a basic idea that I wanted to put out there.
