All of them are "easy" to make. Some are just more of a pain in the ass/more time consuming.

That being said, I don't like players who rip on others because those others have an "easier"-to-make empyrean. What if my favorite job was COR, so I chose empy gun? Does that make me a "noob" because I chose to do gun over something "harder"?

Depends on whether or not you parade your Armageddon around like it makes you the best thing since sliced bread. That's really the crux of what he was getting at. It's silly when people parade Empyreans around like they're super awesome for having them. It's worse when people bitch and moan because they think they're too "hard" to get.

Empyreans make a player average. Lacking them is subpar, touting them around is pompous. That's pretty much all there is to it.

More than half of my post-update EXP party has at LEAST one Empyrean. And they're mostly randoms. So no, I'm not joking.

It's not a joke. Empyreans are by no means exclusive, and since anyone has access to one that makes that the average. People who are below average are subpar. It's a pretty simple concept.
