What new Jug Pets would you like to see 91-99?

hecteyes, for all the reasons I laid out before... I want 1, yes just 1 pet that can deal with magic, instead of the surrent count of... 0! and I can pretty much guarantee ruszor won't get the magic shield, at least not past the strength of shell. We can't even get a lizard with baleful gaze, you think they'll honestly give us that?!

Scorp, ideally gold one, but, whichever one gets Sharp Strike.
It's a better attack boost than a L90 Mythic for your pet, you all should want this.

Provided that this doesn't effect our getting Adamantoise pet one way or the other, than my vote is:

Scorpion.

If it does, I want Adamantoise.



PS: I realize that the reason for a vote may entail developer time, and they can't just give us 2000 pets in one update. I would like to think we'll continue to get new pets, even after we've been 99 for awhile.

Slugs are healed by water, new slug pet isn't.
I don't really trust the pets having the same statistics, but I'd hope they'd keep that in for slime....

Either way, I want Ruszor because it's the only neat looking mob on the list. And it also is rarely seen, not many of them in the game.

... but most importantly before speaking about new jugs:
Ready TPmoves are really really WEAK WEAK WEAK as soon as the mob gets respectable stats. Hitting 500dmg grand maxi compared to an avatar or a pup who can deal "normal" dmg, is a disrespect to BST. The case of Abyssea is particularly clear: i can rampage for 2k+ np but any of my jugs ready for 600dmg max...
If i'm farming EasyPrey monsters outside abyssea, only then i can see ready TPmoves do comparable damage to my rampages... conclusion: Ready TPmove = farming only LOOOOOOOL ???!

Also, any explanation about this tendency from devs to neglect more and more the charm aspect of BST ?
Would it allow too much abuses ? Too hard to test ?

Well, if they keep the abilities of the original monster, definitely ruszor.

Severing fang is a 2 hit ws AND inflicts def-. That's a good enough reason to vote ruszor, but then adding that they hit like a truck and might be keeping their shield abilities, that's a definite powerhouse, right there. Plus it'd be another element our pet can resist. Ruszors will hopefully resist Ice like yuly does wind, merle does earth, and fargann/gerard do water. That's half the elements covered, (and light and dark enemies are damn rare bringing us to 6/8 elements) so I'm cool with that.

Heck, even if they remove the physical shield from frozen mist, aoe ice damage, aoe dispel and aoe terror in one move? That's fantastic. And I doubt they'd remove the magic shield from Hydro blast, as they gave it to BLU. It's just a stronger stoneskin in exchange for only absorbing magic damage.

They're more likely to remove Hydro wave since the pet being healed by water is too powerful for a pet, according to the slug, and enemies don't wear armor anyway.
