I like how everyone is ready and willing to team up for all the previous NMs but as soon as you're on the actual empyrean trial, everyone is at each other's throats trying to get it done. Linkshell monopolizing, ??? botting, mules there to hold extra KIs, it's really quite a mess.

The OP brought a valid concern and this is a real problem that has been plaguing many servers since the merger happened. I doubt SE will do anything to it though. God forbid, they will make the game more enjoyable and ease the frustration of the players - the whole point is to make us suffer and add needless timesink activities.

The problems that keep coming up about congestion etc. on empyrean trials is because the 80-90 trials are a poorly implemented system compared to the rest of them. Up until these trials, players could work together to complete their trials, If player X claimed other people on the same trial could also benefit from it. The 80-90 trials did away with this making it so only 1 person could really progress on any given kill. This creates a bottleneck where a large number of people can easily get to the lvl 80 trial while a much smaller number of them can actually work on it due to constraints on getting pop items. I'm going to be perfectly honest, it would have been better if it was just kill the mob 50,50,75 times with the weapon equipped. It actually encourages people to work together(or leech). A group of 6 people all after the same trial can easily kill 200+ mobs between them or ~33 per person. Look at every other trial beyond the like Relic upgrades, the Empyrean, and WoE trials(might be missing 1 or 2), all of them, you benefit from working with other people doing the same trial and sometimes benefit from people working on different trials as well. On these, you don't really benefit from teaming up with other people on the same trial, ya you might get yours faster but you have to kill twice as many to get the other guy his.

I'm not saying make the game super easy mode, I'm saying 3 hours of tedium isn't difficult, its TEDIOUS. I'm all for removing stupid, unnecessary, tedious actions. While you can't truly remove the tedium from these tasks, being able to get stuff done without having to bring your LS or an army of mules in order to gain any semblance of productivity is a boon. And if they change it to just get 50,50,75 kills, this is worse if you're just making 1 weapon, but, it lets people on the same trial team up and work together and between them they kill less. Which means less Guku's Aery and more people actually getting stuff done.

Zetonegi, you brought a valid points, and I really hope that they will change it or come with alternative. Though, I would not hold your breath for this, I really wish I am totally wrong. In typical SE fashion: no resource, no fixes, no changes, deal with it or cancel your subscription.

You need to find which mobs give the most lights for each zone. Emp. mobs in the coast will cap out azure in 2 kills, other area's they won't do that. Blu is by far the best solo KI box farmer once you cap lights you then can turn around and CW farm. You could also take one friend with you and it speed it up and you'll have another KI holder.

Remove drops, make the trial "kill 25 glavoids", profit. Everyone will help out and progress.

Of course, we can't have people getting equal progresses. That would actually be fair.

tried today with blu going for gold pixies, well... ran out of time with 2 gold pixies with a KI in it, 2 times the same... /pissed.

Had azure, amber capped, pearl not capped, really bad luck on vnm, i kept transforming the T1 into T2, had to run back to 01 dispose of the T2 and grab another T1, still really not convinced this is a good wat to go.

Back to fighting for a pop i guess...

SE when will you do something about that ? I don't mind popping 50 briareus, but i DO mind having to fight against a whole lot of people to get there.
