Defending rings for everyone. I agree with the OP. No reason to allow you a chance at shadow ring/mantle several times a day but to cokcblock you on D ring or ridill.
Or at least lower it to a 1 minute timer, would be acceptable.

Actually, imagine you in a party of 18 and only 1 would drop in 5 min that's by luck alone you will get one seal every 1.5 hour.

He does get it right sometimes, but this would just end up as a bad fix to a terrible problem. It wouldn't actually fix the real problem (low drop rate for king pop items from their NQ version) but it would allow SE to think they fixed it if they implemented this. Unless the drop rate ends up being 1 per mob.

From a balance perspective, making any adjustments to the amount of seals dropped or removing time limitations would have to be dealt with extremely delicately, mainly due to the fact that these seals are used in certain quests as well as other battlefields. Any change to the amount in circulation would ultimately result in a reduction in item value. To avoid this, we are thinking about making it possible to exchange seals and will be looking into specific exchange rates and rules. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any developments.

seriously, tired of having game content spoon-fed to me and to other players. You didn't get my interest in a game for 9 years by making the total content soloable start to finish in 1 RL month. If BB is so important you should have to work for it, just like relic, mythic, those uber ZNM prizes, salvage gear and the like. dropping the rate to 1/60 seconds means that you'll get 2 cracks at it every 99 minutes, plus travel time. If you do a 1/minute rate, then drop the drop rate on items to something equivalent to Jaggedy-earred Jack and the rabbit charm, where I went 0/206 before I just gave up and bought one.
Honestly, BB was a reward for hard work when it was created. This game isn't a freaking welfare entitlement program!
Did you even read what Camate wrote? They're not going to decrease the drop times, but are considering letting you trade seals that you don't want for seals you do want. Considering it's much harder now than it used to be to get Kindred's Seals, this is a good thing. Hopefully it will mean the end of 600k Phalanx scrolls new RDM33 will have to buy.
I absolutely read it... and again, no. People should have to work for something they seek. And the seals are not hard to get now... kill stuff>>get seals, how difficult was that? I've got empy weaps to make, an NPC to level, skills to skill, crafts that require farming and 15 jobs yet to take 1-99, seals I'll be getting aplenty.
Most mobs people kill these days drop Crests, not Seals. Even mobs that used to be good for seals now drop Crests as well, making it less likely you will get the Seal you're seeking, because a Crest can drop in its place. Considering the pool of mobs you can get KS from is smaller, and there is hardly any reason to fight them anymore, KS are harder to come by. This in tandem with the KS99/Kings update actually makes that content accessible to those who work for it. And this is coming from someone who only ever did one KSNM30, preferring ever after to hoard his KS for later KS99 spammage.
And who knows? The exchange rate may be 1 KC = 1 KS. Would that really be so bad?
I think you miss the part where they didn't categorically say no to increasing drop rate.
And I don't care what people are killing now, BB is old content, KS are old content, KS99 is old content, go earn it old way!
i always did support the entrance cap for Aby being 75. I just don't waste my breath posting about it because I know they never will. Seriously, tired of level 90 noobs trying to cover their inadequacy by walking around in godly gear/Atma that was simply spoonfed to them. This game is getting to be on par with Candyland, both for difficulty and player skill.
