Can we have a solid slection of jug pets and a pet tp bar? Please?

I know people do not agree with alot of the things I say; however, can we all agree that we need a better selection of jug pets? I mean think about it, A scorpion with death scissors and sharp strike would solve most of our dd issues, minus acc. A wivre with all of their moves intact would solve our tanking and dd issues (But -DT will serve us well). The pets we have now are sub-par dd to begin with. A death scissors from a scorpion could kill you at 119, sweeping gouge would hurt you..a little. The pet food idea is a nice start, but they would not solve much imo. Now, if you give a sizable amount of acc from food to a scorpion or wivre; that can take bst over the top imo.

I totally agree with a lot you say, including this. I think I only disagree with you saying BST is not too expensive, but I accept that it's not too expensive for you :D

No harm, no foul, i understand that not everyone wants to craft; i did not want to neither, it sucked.

I have my cooking up higher than any other craft (at 30ish now) but I just don't have time for it. Eventually I'll get it capped, but not for a very long time.

I see what you are saying; which is why I stated that they should do away with the ready bar. It is a way to restrict bst pets guys; that is all it is (As if the pets were world beaters to begin with). Scorpions have been in the game since XI's release, but have yet to be implemented. They even won the poll, but mysteriously lost. A tp bar and even back to back ws usage would not be too extreme because you still need to gain tp; if the pet lives long enough to use sharp strike and death scissors throughout the battle.

Edit: Death scissors and sharp strike would tear through mobs lower than the scorpion (Crawler's Nest pts back in the day^^), but it would be serviceable on difficult content which is what bsts appear to want. A death scissors could kill you if the monster is at your lvl; but if you are well above the scorpions lvl (Difficult content), it would be damaging, but not lethal unless you are running low on hp. Death scissors is a reliable move, it always does nice dmg; this is what bst need imo. Not all monsters are dd machines; for instance, look at Hobs, Ibuki, or falcorr compared to the slug, frog, and mandy in terms of dd capabilities.

Should note that sharp strike normally lasts 3 min but for some reason they changed it in monstrosity without saying so down to 90 sec.

Also I'd say to use the upgraded versions of some of those moves... like instead of poison sting use venom sting. Yes I know it's generally an nm but poison sting is 1hp/tic poison and does less dmg than a melee hit. Crit bite instead of mand bite for similar reasons though not as big of an upgrade there. Also include evasion for some versility. Actually just get rid of the whole nm move restriction period. Give move lists more like what we get in monstrosity as well as the innate stat bonuses

I agree, this was all I was saying in the pet thread in general discussion; I do not want a full fledged monstrosity per se, but certain elements could really benefit bst. The moves you listed will not break the game by any means; Se appears afraid of bst or something, idk.

Playing monstrosity bothers me, because I find myself saying "Damn, they release buffed pets in some side content, but one of its' main jobs have had gimped pets since the release of XI." Monstrosity felt like a slap in the face to bst imo. This is just my opinion. It is almost as if they are dangling a carrot, lol.

We need better jug communication from them. I think they should really consider letting the big dogs out (Scorpions, wivre, rams, minus the ground shake), it is about time and well over due imo. Bst is merely a warrior without berserk, bloodrage, war cry, etc, a strong pet would just put us on a level playing field with the other dds.

I just want communication regarding the jugs and the accuracy of our debuffs. They replied to the food discussion; hopefully they give us some insight on the future jugs and their inability to land debuffs (This has been a gripe among bst for some time now). Food, better jug selection, and reliable debuffs will make bst desirable imo. I do not see how they could not^^ Come on SE, throw us a bone^^

I may have mentioned this in another thread, but it would not hurt if they conducted another poll, however, allow bst to chose their next batch of jugs as opposed to just one. This could happened well after the pet food buff update, because we will need pets to utilize +acc food. Give us a detailed rundown of what each pet would get. We usually get like what? three or four new pets? Just pick the winners by popularity rank. It would be quite fun to choose our pets one last time^^ Not sure ppl care enough about bst to create an account and troll the voting process, lol. The replies for each bst thread appear rather small. They may be reluctant to do another poll based on the uproar the last one created, but we did get a great jug from it; wouldn't hurt imo.

Edit: Hands down the best bst thread ever and arguably, the greatest jug of all time came from this poll^^ How useful was/is falcorr; a tank/dd with TH. Still use him to this day when farming.

I mean just tally up the total votes and implement them based on popularity. For instance, petA received the most votes overall, petb received the second most, and petC received the third most votes, hence implement those three. Also, a brief description of what each pet would receive; something like this:

-Scorpion: Death scissors, sharp strike, wild rage, cold breathe, numbing breathe, critical bite, venom sting.

-Ram: Great Bleat, rumble, berserk, ram charge.

-Morbol: Bad breathe, impale, vampric lash, drain whip, sweet breathe, vampric whip.

-Wivre: Boiling Blood, demoralizing roar, granite hide, clobber, battle horn, crippling slam.

-Marid: (Spawns a chigoe upon ws, which can be killed) Proboscis shower, flailing trunk, onrush, barrier tusk, stampede.

-Opo-opo: Claw storm, magic fruit, eye scratch, vicious claw, stone throw, blank gaze, spinning claw.

-Gnat: Bombilation, cimincine discharge, emtetic discharge.

-Wamoura: Erratic flutter, exuviation, proboscis, magma fan, fire break, erosion dust.

-Antilion: Sandpit, sand blast, venom spray, mandibular bite, gravitic horn, quake blast.

-Roc: Giga scream, feather barrier, deadly dive, blind vortex, dread wind.

It is somewhat discouraging when a pet has a few of the beneficial/damaging moves removed hence are not what we wanted.

Also, the pet poll thread received a large amount of responses, I am pretty sure more bst would show up if they conducted a detailed pet poll. However, I did lol @your 4-5 NA bst comment, it is pretty dead on the bst forums, lol. You usually do not see many bst until a dev response; i guess the players feel "why even bother posting." If a second poll were conducted more bst would participate because the developers are allowing them to choose something for the job they play.

Yea, it would be fun to have another pet poll^^ the last one produced a superb pet. A new one will probably mend the old wounds pertaining to the last poll. I just want one more opportunity to pick our pets, the community will surely pick 3-4 solid pets (if they were a batch). Everyone appeared to get a kick out of the last poll based on the number of responses, although their pet did not win. Falcorr was solid though, can't lie. Also, feelings may not be hurt if the poll had multiple pets to choose from. For instance, the hippo won last year correct? I believe the scorpion and ruszor were pulling in close as well, therefore these three would have been implemented thus the whole scorpion fiasco would have never happened. You cannot please everyone, I am a reasonable guy, I mean, who could argue with a solid pet? I would be happy with any pet on that list (But i would perfer the ram or scorpion, lol).

Not sure if they will do another poll though; but I am sure the majority of the bst community will get a kick out of it. The last pet a poll produced an extremely useful jug; he was fairly unique as well ( Fantod quadruple damage was pretty neat). ppl were upset with the last one, but falcorr was awesome and I am sure bst may be over that, thus would gladly participate. Not sure if a dev will respond to this thread; i believe they are working to get the pet food up and going first and foremost. I think a sizable amount of acc plus a solid pet would do the trick. I haven't played BST in ages though. There's nothing I can think of that BST can do that one of my other jobs can't do just as well or better.

Bumping, I am under the impression that a pet poll is out of the question, I aint trippin^^ but I do have a serious question for the devs. Why is our jug selection so "Meh" as it pertains to dd capabilities? Why do you guys avoid releasing a scorpion jug? Not a rant, but a serious question; I am interested^^ Is there a reason? Hard to implement? After all of these years, no scorpion whom will be our go to dd pet. How about a Opo-opo? I just want to know why these jugs have never seen the light of day and monsters from new eras/expansions were released 11 years later (Some were even un-charmable, but Opo and scorps are charmable XD), but scorps and opo were left out. Why is that? Are they being considered for the next batch? These two along with any combo of random jugs would be awesome^^ Scorpions and Opo-opo are the best dd monsters out there. I loved leveling up in the jungle soloing tougher mobs with Opo, boy those little things were tough^^ and we all know scorpions are the bomb, sharp strike and death scissors^^

Please consider releasing these two guys for the next batch^^ Bst is called upon to dd (Sometimes, lol), these two are the best dd pets out there, but have have yet to be implemented.

1) Bst, would you like to see a scorpion and Opo as two new pets from the next batch?

2) Do you feel that they may have the highest dd potential as-well? I cannot think of any possible jug with a higher dps (Just eyeballin/speculation).

3) And lastly, What is your ideal batch of four pets? (That appears to be the magic number based upon last update iirc). Mine would look something like this; Scorpion, Opo, Wivre (Pigmy), and Sandworm (Pigmy, need another amorph).

BST is the job that got me interested in FFXI in the first place. Yet it's become so meh that I haven't played it in years. I'd certainly be interested in trying new jugs. Scorpion or peiste would be cool. And the moth. :) How about a bad-ass bat, or an undead dog even? Barring the undead family, they've put these in Monstrosity already, I don't see why they can't be jugs too.

Honestly we need a Mantid, Cracklaw, Matamata, Acuex, and Snapweed jug. Every monster family covered, all useful and strong, and they're all adoulin themed when combined with the Raaz and Tulfaire we already have. Make, it happen SE.

Honestly you screwed up when the 2000 plasm EACH jug summoned a crab and it wasn't a cracklaw.

Louispv, I really like the idea of a Mantid and Cracklaw. These two would be interesting choices because their normal attacks appear quite special.

The Mantid has a attack and magic attack boosting ability, plus damaging single target moves (Remember Nazuna? Rage > lampchop; the mantid's combo would be more potent; one of the abilities also grant a defense down arura^^ Wow, could you imagine that? Preying posture (Attack/magic attack boost and defense down) > Slicing sickle or Raptorial claw? The mantid also gets my vote. This jug may be superior to the scorpion and opo due to the potent defense down arura that benefits the pt. Good one Louis^^ Never considered those. I see this as possibly the best dd pet we can get. This could get us into pts due to preying posture (For those who don't know, preying posture grants a potent defense down arura).

Cracklaw; as you mentioned, should have been the plasm jug (Actually was expecting this to be the case XD) impenetrable carapace and sundering snip, enough said. I would have gladly spent my plasm on this. I see this as a tank/dd. This one could also get us into pts because the normal attacks inflict defense down.

There are some whom dislike jug prices; how about making a Ceizak plasm pet the Mantid, Foret, a cracklaw (yea, they screwed up on this, but still, just add it anyway, no biggie), Yorica (Snapweed), and so on. I really want that Mantid and Crab tho^^ Yea, make it happen SE; I second that^^ Hopefully we get a dev response with news on the next batch.

Edit: Actually, i would prefer a mantid over a scorp and a cracklaw as opposed to an opo. My new list would look like this; Mantid (Plasm), Cracklaw (Plasm), Sandworm (Pigmy), and Wivre (Pigmy). Two plasm (Since ppl hating the jug prices) and two crafted pets.

But I really, really don't like the idea of plasm items. I don't get to Delve enough to be able to afford anything, especially something consumable like ammo or jugs. Playing BST also wont get me into Delve, so any plasm I do get needs to be spent on a job that actually gets invites...

ppl are not fond of the jug cost hence I figured plasm would be an alternate option.

But yes, i would like one of those special striking pets. I wonder if this is a real possibility? Would benefit us bst tremendously.

Also; is there a way to adjust run wild/ This is a great JA with huge potential, but the timer is unbearable. Run wild grants +25% to defense, acc, and att, combine this with food/gear and our acc issues would be solved^^

Anyway, yes, I am fully behind a mantid and cracklaw pet.

Edit: They are actually quite mum on bst adjustments as of late; perhaps one of the late summer updates will address new jugs or bst adjustments.

Or they could shorten recast time or remove the jug usage requirement completely. +25% to major stats is not groundbreaking by any means. Doesn't pup get around a 25% increase in stats through optimization merits anyway? Let our jugs run wild^^

As it pertains to jugs selection; yes, bst needs the preying mantis, best dd jug we could get. We need dds, personally, I will be disappointing if the next batch does not include a potent dd.

I don't give a damn about the pets being good DD's, I just want all the families back. Everything in adoulin is 1 single family, and the monsters are all stuff we can intimidate. Party damage done+ a straight 15%, and damage taken- 15% that breaks the 50% cap, on top of intimidation, is more than enough reason to bring a BST to any delve, but they introduced delve and took away all but lizard and plantoid killer. (Dortwin and Xerin) Aquan killer is nice from Ibuki, but we still have 4 aquan jugs with no amorph zone. Give us the rest of the monster families and at least BST will have a niche in the game somewhere. I'm not counting hermes as existing, since a 114 Merle is stronger than a 119 Hermes.

Actually I don't, lol. Why do you say this? Because SE has a habit of removing beneficial abilities from monsters? Hindsight Louis, how do you know the Matamata or crab will get en-stun? This is the problem, SE removes beneficial moves from our jugs.

However, Tojil, lizard (Boar jug), Shark, aquan (Ibuki), Wopket, plantoid (Chapuli), Lion, beast (Mandy), Louis, killer instinct and pets whom can intimate delve monsters are in-game right now; whose stopping ppl from inviting a bst? They do not care if you have all of the monster families, they can invite you for the aforementioned bosses. The zones are scattered with the same monster families, hence you could put killer instinct to use, right? Louis, we have what you are asking for in-game already, ppl will not care if you do not have a amorph during a tojil, shark, lion, or wopket run. Granted it would be nice to have all of the families, but that does not solve the bst dd/invite issues; unless it is a unque pet. Bst are not invited to pts because other dds can do it better. We have those thing in-game, however, we do not have a attack boosting pet with powerful ready moves that can debuff. There is no such pet in-game atm. our current jugs have a potent defense down effect, but their ready moves are lackluster, Nazuna has berserk, however, she is capped and her ready moves are not that powerful nor does she have the defense down effect that our current pets benefit from; the Mantid is the best of all worlds, can do all these things.

That en-stun would be nice, however, could it equate to near constant stuns with pet haste gear? An attack boost (Which our sheep has, zerk like) and a defense aura (Our pets have a potent defense down aftermath from moves anyway) is not game-breaking. Not saying that the en-stun effect will be removed (I hate this), but an alliance of bst could stop any boss in their tracks, while the majority of our pets have defense down as a part of their aftermath from the ready moves, as does the mantid. I don't see the problem personally.

Edit: Defense down benefits the entire pt, with food and pet acc from gear/axes, the mantid will be a serviceable dd on its' own. The issue with bst is not the master, but the pet lagging behind in the dmg department; otherwise the job is fine if pet dmg is a non-issue.

You can't use the chapuli on wopket because you can't remove doom from pets. It gets applied every 15 seconds, and call beast is a 5 minute timer. And you can't use the mandy on Utkux because you cannot melee Utkux. You are full dispeled every 15 seconds, so it doesn't matter what buff your pet can put up, and you die in 2 aoe's because you don't even have shell because of the constant dispel. It's RNG and SMN, or nothing.

You also can't use hermes on Utkux because hermes is terrible. I mean worse than using a 114 Merle jug terrible. Like you'll just use Stay next to the mages because you can't use Killer instinct if he's dead, terrible. He's a H2H MNK pet, which are all worthless, since they don't get the extra 140 base damage from the weapon and skill of an item level weapon, and thus just have a base damage of 72, or whatever MNK's base damage is weaponless.

BST is actually pretty good for the shark and lizard zone, but no one cares because the first 3 delves are trioable by MNK/WHM/BRD and everyone else is just along for the ride. And there's no lizard jug for Ceizak, or amorph jugs for Marjami. (Not that it'd help since players struggle to hit that stuff with 1200+ accuracy, and pets can't get anywhere close to that much.)

None of our additional effects from pet ws's ever land though. Can't even land dispel from molting plumage on Very Easy, or the defense down from any of our pets in delve. So pet buffs are a hell of a lot better than pet debuffs at this point.

Yes, bst is not as bad as I make it out to be nor anyone else. i have no doubt a bst can effectively do the lvl119 delves. I decided to stop whining and try this food out myself. with a plethora of pet acc gear, I did not experience any acc issues on the mithra AA normal (Decided play around on normal since I beat the lower tier difficulties with ease). Granted I lost; the main issue was the pet's dmg output. The battle was pretty slow; I was doing most of the dmg, hence it felt like I was actually in that BC alone, fighting a tiger and a mithra. Molted plumage dmg also suffers as the difficulty increases. A pet with zerk, nice ready moves, and run wild will help bst out immensely. Also, you should care about good dds pets, because bst is a dd^^ we have no native offensive JAs, hence our pet is a crucial part of our dd output.

Gerard's move landed because it was bio and bio couldn't miss. Everything added after gerard resisted the hp down outright, once SE remembered to put in max hp down resistance, since players could actually inflict it at that point. Nothing else seems to land on any current content regardless of what move it is. Pets besides being about 200 acc behind players seem to be about 3-400 magic acc behind them too. They gave even melee jobs without any magic magic acc+188 on 119 weapons, but seemingly none for BST pets. (though they gave a buttload to SMN and PUP since they get spells. My 115 avatars never get resisted, but my 119 tulfaire does every time. Yet another failure of the item level system, you have to remember to increase every stat, everywhere, and you just won't.) Chock another damned buff the pets need. Too bad they'll probably "fix" it with pet magic acc food that doesn't add any normal acc.

I used to use Unleash, then Swooping frenzy, then molting plumage spam to try and take advantage of the def and magic defense down. Until I tried to just spam molting plumage, and found out it was exactly the same damage as using Swooping frenzy first. Same thing with sweeping gouge spamming. So the defense downs just don't land at all on anything delve/battlefield related. And of course molting plumage's dispel goes off once every 47 times you use it, just ask anyone soloing arch angel Tarutaru and his blaze spikes, or Elvaan and her protect/shell.

And extra TP doesn't seem to do anything, as between the advent of ACC food, ready charge timers, the empy gloves TP bonus, and fencer's TP bonus, every single WS is at 300% tp now. Which makes me want to know the TP mod of their WS's, since it isn't damage+, it isn't additional effect acc+, and it isn't melee acc+, so what the hell does extra TP even do for pet ws's? I'm doubting that the "Overarching WS adjustments" in the next update will affect pet ws's at all, though, so we probably won't find out.

So I'd much prefer pets buffs, to enfeebles that won't land. And honestly it should just be a pet berserk, pet defender, pet aggressor and pet dodge that the master uses, so that every pet gets it instead of just one good pet.

Until I tried to just spam molting plumage, and found out it was exactly the same damage as using Swooping frenzy first. Same thing with sweeping gouge spamming. So the defense downs just don't land at all on anything delve/battlefield related. And of course molting plumage's dispel goes off once every 47 times you use it, just ask anyone soloing arch angel Tarutaru and his blaze spikes, or Elvaan and her protect/shell.

And extra TP doesn't seem to do anything, as between the advent of ACC food, ready charge timers, the empy gloves TP bonus, and fencer's TP bonus, every single WS is at 300% tp now. Swooping effects works just fine for me; the def down is noticeable, I don't know what to tell you man.....


As it pertains to the bolded; sure, but run wild is the pet's version of aggressor, berserk, and defender, plus a regen. This buff increases those stats by 25%, there is no use adding those things when we already have it; just shorten the timer.

Also, it is not all about debuffs, but dd; we are dd, need dd pets. We have no native offensive JAs, hence need quality dd pets to compensate for this.

Also, your pets are buffed Louis, several ppl noted positive results pertaining to the new pet food. There are also those whom would join pet oriented pts using drachen roll. I have no issues with acc, granted I have a $hit ton of pet acc at my disposal. Pets hit just fine, but the move removal must stop. Just shorten Run wild's timer; problem solved.

For run wild to help, it'd have to go from an ability you can keep up 1/3 of the time, to an ability that is always up, full time. Like a 5 min duration and a 1 min recast, or else your pet's worthless for 4 minutes if it dies, while run wild isn't up. It's just not going to happen. SE already thinks it's so powerful that you have to wait 15 full minutes between uses. I can't think of another time that SE said, "Oh this ability that's so powerful we don't want you to use it more than 4 times an hour, and that you had to use in conjunction with a second ability because it instantly killed your pet 5 minutes after use, you can just full time it now." Whereas they gave us spur. Another spur that gave your pet a 20% attack boost instead of Store TP would do wonders. Or if they just changed Spur to do that in the first place. (Seriously, store TP for pets that can't ws more than once a minute? What? That makes almost as much sense as making a SAM pet that can only.. ws.. once a minute.. oh right.)

That and Run Wild takes away the permanent 10 pet haste from keeping familiar up full time, since it will die with the pet after 5 minutes.

I'd like to know what you consider "issues with acc" because with all the same pet accuracy as you (barring anwig/solo DD hat/party instead of totemic) the pet's acc is still unacceptable on Normal. (And maybe even Easy for the Mithra/Gessho) I'm sure with mochi and all the acc gear you could pull maybe 55% acc on normal, but anything under 90% is unacceptable, and all that pet gear will be dropping your own accuracy into the toilet as well, and everyone involved will be hitting for peanuts with no DD stats for either player or pet. You can only use either the acc food, OR the attack food after all, while other jobs can use both at once. (Pizza/riverfin soup for melee, parfaits and snowcones for mages, Pot au feu/Kohlrouladhen for ranged, all give roughly the same as the pet acc and pet att food put together.)

We're already pretty far behind other DD's when wearing the same armor, because we have no DD abilities or traits. If we have to use neither any DD gear NOR any abilities or traits, the pet's not going to help our damage at all. If Ankusa had 20 acc and att for the master on top of the pet stats (like every other job's gear) it'd be another story, but giving your pet 30 acc and attack, is losing yourself about 65 of each. And some STR, and DEX, and store tp, and some multihit procs.

Gear ain't fixing it, and neither is food. So we're stuck with abilities and base stat increases. Abilities are a long shot, but we KNOW a large chunk of BST's problems come from the Ilevel system, and how SE just never even considered half the things they'd have to change. Pets are scaled up in stats based on what they were at 99 +20 normal levels, instead of how much players scaled up with 20 item levels for instance. Or that pets still use the 50% DEX/acc formula instead of the current 75% players use for another. We can likely get them to fix this still broken base stat problem. We can maybe get them to add abilities or traits to fix it. There's no way gear or food's fixing it though, and only Stockholm syndrome would make you happy with the scraps you've been thrown.

Kerehcatl +28, WKR axe +30, Hurch'lan Sash +10, Af Gaiter +10, Head +20, Mittens +20, food +16%; that is a $hit ton of acc. I do not run into acc issues; I can only tell you my personal experiences man. Me and SNK did not experience acc issues on normal; SNK stated that he/she was doing fine on difficult, I don't know what to tell you.....really.....our acc is fine. And no, my acc was fine.

As it pertains to run wild, yes, the removal of a vanished pet will help. Louis, you complain about pet's dmg, but you do not care about a dd pet; I am been trying to tell my fellow bst that this is the problem. The lvl system is not the problem, because bst were the same lvl as the master to begin with; the jug cap, lack of a true dd pet, move removal, and run wild's timer/disappearing pet are the issues. If SE reduced Run wild's timer to 6 minutes, removed pet disappearance, gave us a scorpion with sharp strike and death scissors, made all pets cap at 128 like the HQ crab,(We have to use merits to lvl pets, hence our jugs should scale higher than other pet jobs) and our problems would be solved. The acc, defense, and stat boost from run wild is alot Louis, +25%. Also, they do not need to add abilities or traits to fix the old formula, just fix the old formula, lol. Other jobs did not get new abilities to fix the old formula.

Louis, bst is not as bad as you make it out to be. My ws revival other dds. No I do not accept scraps, I just play my job to the best of my ability and did not experience acc issues on normal. We need to stop asking for a hand out and work for something; any job is sub-par if you do not work on it. Yes bst has issues, but it is not that bad. If my acc was fine on normal, imagine if they fixed the formula and run wild? Bst does not need anything over the top like aggressor or every pet getting berserk (Every pet does not have berserk), we already have a potent acc and attack boost, but SE screwed up the timer.

Edit: There is no point going back and forth about individual experiences. I did not experience acc issues, you did; what should I say? You didn't? I can only control my output. I am more concerned with jug selection, run wild, and move removal as opposed to bickering over individual experiences, but if you want to keep it going and give me free bumps, go right ahead my friend.

Droopy Dortwin: Foot Kick, Dust Cloud, Whirl Claws, Wild Carrot, Wild Ginger.

Faithful Falcorr: Back heel, Fantod, Choke Breathe, Nihility Song, Hoof Volley Allow this to be used occasionally after a ready move.

Amigo Sabotender: Needle Shot, Photosynthesis, 1k needles, 2k needles, and 4k needles.

Gooey Gerald: Purulent Ooze, Fuscous Ooze, Corrosive Ooze, and Mucilaginous Ooze.

Blood Claw Shasra : Frenzied Rage, Pounce, Charged Whisker, Chaotic Eye, Blaster.

Scissorleg Xerin: Nature's Meditation, Sanguinary Slash, Sensilla Blades, Tegmina Buffet.

Crude Rahpie: Head Butt, Tortoise Stomp, Harden Shell, Earth Breathe, Aqua Breathe, Testudo Tremor.

These are just a few current-ish jugs that have had benifical moves mysteriously removed. Why were these moves removed? I know these abilities are implementable because the sheep has zerk (Frenzied rage and nature's meditation) and gooey has defense down (Sanguinary Slash). Pounce? It is just a normal move...why remove it? These moves are also available in monstrosity and are not overpowered with monsters that possess JAs, Magic, and instincts. Hoof volley could do insane damage only if you use fantod, but the ready meter does not allow that, unless you use unleash every hour.

Now, allow me to plead my case as to why these jug abilities and a adjusted run wild would not be overpowered.

1) Bst master has no native offensive JAs.

2) Every DD is superb on weaker content; imagine the top tier dd on that same stuff.

3) Run wild grants +25% boost to defense, attack, and acc, while giving a potent regen effect (Pet survival aid?). Pups receives a 25% acc boost through optimization and +25 from fine-tuning (iirc). Pup automatons also get attachments and JAs. Bst could have received instinct slots, but they went elsewhere XD. The only pet enchanting JA bst have is run wild. May we have a timer reduction? It is the only pet enhancing JA we have outside of familiar which does nothing for att, acc, or defense. Also, can the pet vanishing aspect be removed? Like I said, it is the only pet buffing JA we have.

4) Bst jugs are restricted to a ready meter, hence you can dictate which moves we can use and how often. Unleash? Sure, Unleash could be powerful, but that happens every hour.

5) Bst pets dmg decreases as the monster lvl increases (Which is why unleash would not be overpowered with stronger ready moves).

6) As Louis mentioned, bst jugs use the old formula

The pet food is a nice start, however, bst are asking for more acc and buffs when we already have that in run wild. Bst also complain about pet dmg when we have it in the Bloodclaw Shasra (Frenzied Rage, Pounce), Falcorr (Hoof volley), Raphie (Testudo Tremor), Nursey Nazuna (Capped, but rage, lambchop). Are there any plans to give these moves to our jugs? These will help us out immensely. I know it is possible, because Nazuna had zerk during her era. Can we please have these moves added to our current jugs? May we please have HQ versions of older jugs as well? The older jugs were really useful and I am sure a number of bst would like to use them again^^ Bloodclaw was a decently priced jug that was great for soloing, would be even better with pounce and frenzied rage. For all you jug price ppl out there; the older jugs had easy/cheap mats. The new jugs are not good dds; bst is a dd, hence need pets with dd capabilities. Ibuki's slashing Resistance is nice, but no pt ask Ibuki to tank; SoA bosses don't care about her slashing resistance. We need pets that improve our dps. ibuki is expensive; a HQ falcorr with hoof volley would push her to the side, due to its' dd capabilities and high evasion at lvl119. Ibuki has all of her native moves, so should Falcorr. The normal hippos in the past use hoof volley.

Giving bst non-dd pets with resistance only reinforces our role as an outcast, because these tanking pets are not capable of tanking any end-game content, hence bst sticks to soloing lower tier crap. Pet survival is important, but Ibuki's slashing resistance does not help in end-game; it just encourages bst to solo lower tier battles. Imo, better dd pets would encourage bst to jump into other content with friends.

If this move removal continues; I am just going to call quits on bst and play monstrosity.

Monstrosity allows monsters to use most of their native abilities on side/useless content; might as well roll with the real deal as opposed to stripped down jug pets on useless side content.
